  1. Now in the future they won't have any money to build their hockey arena, which Chapman and the Foundation wanted to be built in Chapman's backyard so he could also use it for social events and family functions!
  2. I think Kristo has lots of talent, but he has to learn that he doesn't have to shoot the puck every time he touches it in the offensive end. His poor shot and subsequent getting caught below the puck off the glass on the PP lead directly to the shorty. UM was much better than Fri. and we were more careless with the puck. Eids made some great saves but seemed out of position much more last night. Vandy's line was better than some are giving them credit for this weekend...he had lots of chances. Just didn't cash in. Zajac and Malone are so strong up the middle. Their lines will continue to get better and better. Malone was looking to dismantle 'lil tDon during the scrum. But as usually Toni didn't want any of that action! Was disappointed with Cichy this weekend...was expecting more from him after watching him last weekend. After watching this team over the first 4 games, I really like what we got!!! Overall it was a fun game to be at. Atmosphere and crowd energy was great!
  3. However many steps forward you feel this FB progam took after the Texas Tech game, multiply those steps by 10 and that's how many steps this program went backwards after today's game! 3 words for you: PA-THET-IC!!
  4. The Forum reports that the reason to get the President's house done, quickly and well ahead of schedule, by June was the fact that Joe's daughter was getting married and that they wanted the reception at the new house! Are you kidding me???
  5. Eidsnees has to look sharper and play better than he did last week. If he does, I like UND tonight 4-3.
  6. Correct and I think this "Foundation" was getting fed up with Joe as well. BUT those two entities need to take some responsibility for creating "the Joe" that has bullied and spent as he has over the past few years.
  7. Joe isn't a mole. He's a weasel!!! And it must be a mountain because from his vantage point at the bottom, it must have been pretty high to the top otherwise he wouldn't have called it quits!
  8. So Joe and Gayle push for the new President's home to be done ahead of schedule, which sky rockets costs. This "Foundation" knowingly picks a floor plan that will exceed the 900K budget and Gayle is on that Foundation board, and now because of the overrun costs on the house, it is reported that NDSU has kicked THOUSANDS of university and tax payers dollars to help pay for the overrun costs. Really amazing how so many want to give Joe and his wife a pass?
  9. No disagreement here.
  10. I can't stop laughing! Now being my youngest is 4, I sure know you don't get that at Burger King!
  11. Don't be suprised if the IRS has him on their speed dial by now! To not even consider his behavior unethical speaks volume to your character or lack there of!
  12. IMO, the SBoHE enabled Joe to the point Joe knew he was bigger than the board itself. Without question, the SBoHE needs to take some responsibility for the monster they helped create.
  13. In the big picture, Joe was little more than an unaccountable bully with a huge ego...thief isn't out of the conversation either.
  14. Possibly...Bohl could have stole it and is trying to "hide" it among the rest of them in front of his house as he knows he has no chance of getting back with a win on Sat.!
  15. At least Joe will have an easy commute over to Dilworth!
  16. Cowering in the corner! What do you think they were going to do after they let Chapman, almost singlehandedly, run Potts out of the state. Chapman had that whole crew by the stones after that fiasco. The SBoHE enabled Chapman prior to the Potts mess, but after that Big Joe knew he was in charge.
  17. You know when you talk to someone and you kind of have feeling there is something a little more going on that what was actually said! I'm not saying, I'm just saying... Not suprised by this at all!
  18. Scholarships I would guess!?
  19. Tell me one other public official in this state who could spend like this in today's economic climate and not lose his job? Not to mention his wife's bogus salary for doing absolutely nothing!
  20. The Fargo Forum this AM reports Joe spent $22K+ to attend the Obama inauguration!! Are you kidding me? This trip included a charter flight and covered the cost of his wife AND his children. Joe has abused his power at an unbelievable level at NDSU since he threatened to leave a couple years back and was "coaxed" to stay?! The President's housing mess, the fact that NDSU is running in the red during his reign and now this. Every AM I have coffee and run into a high profile NDSU booster/contributor. Today this guy even said Joe must go! He said if Joe doesn't resign it will create a firestorm that NDSU will have a hard time putting out. And where is the SBoHE? IF they have any spine at all they should be addressing this/these issues with Joe by noon!! What a slap in the face to the NDSU students, who's tuition is on the rise year after year, to the underpaid (generally speaking) faculty of NDSU, and to the tax paying residents of ND, all of whom have watched and read in disbelief the rogue actions of Joe Chapman in recent years. I know some will say well look at what he has done for NDSU. It was a foundation's money, not the universities. Does that really then get Joe off the hook? Joe thinks so (per the Forum)..."What I've accomplished over the past 10 years speaks pretty well to what we've done (for this institution)." You think someone thinks a little too much of himself!!! BTW...Kelly's same trip cost $2176 and his wife paid for her own airfare.
  21. Because that would put them in a the category of a "dynasty"!
  22. And rightfully so! There isn't much difference between general public Gopher fans and general population thugs at Riker's Island!
  23. Ummmm...you must have missed the last home playoff game vs. Winona St. Barely 5000+ there for a PLAYOFF game. But to your credit, it was a morgue in the Alerus Sat.
  24. People can rip on the secondary, which isn't very good, but the D-line is more of a contributing problem to our pass defense than anything. We get ZERO pressure on the opposing QB. You have to disrupt the timing of a QB once in awhile!
  25. There are 8 of us coming to watch the banner get raised and see a Sioux opener victory! 4-1 Genoway, Cichy, Trupp and VV
