  1. UND has the best defensive goals against in the WCHA. Gophs can't score and are basically 9th in every stat category in the WCHA. That being said, I'm with you. I think Trupp and Frattin are the 2 key guys this weekend. If both play well, I like our chances. And BE has to be his usual self...solid.
  2. Adams can't even control his own bladder more less a hockey game!! If he has this series, I say a minium of 2 from each team get tossed Sat. for all the crap that he'll let go as the player will just settle it themselves.
  3. My wife/her family are from WI. She now GETS the UND/UM hockey rivalary, but to the average Badger sports fans, like her family, the Gophers are hated.
  4. I'm with Dave...3(+) goals UND wins each game. Think split as well with UND winning tonight then getting little offense going Sat. I would be suprised if UM score more than 5 goals the entire weekend, but BE is going to give up 2 each night...earned or soft. My concern is, with the big ice, can our d-man stay in position and not take bad penalties...especially Blood and McWilliams. Our big d-man have struggled in the past on this big ice...look no further than Big Joe.
  5. Was just gona ask that same question. Yes, Cableone is crap...for the life of me still don't know why we still have it!
  6. UM 1st line: Schroeder, Cepis and White. KFAN had someone, Cardinal was that you??, from Gopher Puck Live on this AM. Cepis fast but more of a set up man per this guy. He also said UM 40th in nation in scoring. Didn't think UM could win a game if UND got 3(+) goal either night as he didn't see UM hangin 4 or more on UND. I hope I'm not misquoting if that was you Cardinal.
  7. Like almost all games that involve UND, if they can get 3 or more goals a game this weekend I like their chances. BE is solid, but won't pitch a shutout. He is good for a couple goals each night. UND will have to convert on the PP at some point this weekend and not have a continual parade to the box. The more these games are played 5 on 5, the more UND will be in control and be able to dictate play.
  8. UND can look no further as to its current situation than the no-show vs. UAA, the DU fiasco and the give-away game at UMD. A 3rd place finish is a stretch...4th is more reasonable. I think UND ends with 33 or 34 league points at best.
  9. 17 is a stretch, but I like the 'Boys as well in this one. Whichever QB throws the least amount of INTs will win this game...Romo right now is playing better FB. AZ/NO...can't like a team losing it's last 3 even if they are at home.
  10. Fixed your post!
  11. Least you can say that! Eidsness is solid, but can he steal a game??? He hasn't shown that yet.
  12. I can see that one getting missed but on 2nd down when GB got called for holding there was a clear leading with the head hit on Rodgers by an AZ D-lineman. That was the one that shouldn't have been missed. But it is what it is. Warner throws more TDs than incompletes...enough said!
  13. Ideally IMO would be to have Zajac as the anchor with Knight and Kristo...BAM! Cichy will have to do the trick for now though.
  14. Jennings had 1 on 1 coverage and had the DB beat by 2 steps running wide open down the middle of the field. Was just a poor throw is the correct answer.
  15. I agree with you. I'd flip flop Toews and Kristo. Toews would work with Trupp and Malone, while Kristo would IMO fit nicely with Zajac and Cichy. Would definitely give that 3rd line a boost.
  16. Correct. The goalie that limits the soft ones each night will probably get their team the win.
  17. Problem is Brett would have thrown 3 picks prior to that play! Teddy T is an ass, but I'm glad we got A-Rodg. As for Favre...will see how he does Sunday. My guess is that he will not play as well as Rodgers did yesterday.
  18. As a Packer fan, I totally agree. Rodgers just flat out missed that throw. All things being equal, it should have never gone to OT. How many times is Yackers going to miss from 34 yards out! You just can't spot the home team 17 points, especially in a playoff game! I told a buddy the only way GB loses that game is if the D totally collapses and that's what happened. I could have caught passes in the middle 1/3 of the field yesterday. Pathetic!!
  19. Especially the ones when he is leaving the ice for a line change. I know he had 2 of those for sure this past series...possibly 3. The one at the end of last night's 1st period was about as stupid as he has had all year and it cost as the Mavs scored a PP goal!
  20. There were a couple of hotties below us that a guy wouldn't have had a hard time chasing around the concourse! Just don't remember them looking quite like that when I was at UND! WOW is definitely the correct term.
  21. I'd be as giddy about 3 points vs. UM as my 4 yr. old was when she got Dippin' Dots last night!
  22. There are reasons some of these kids come back for their Sr. year...wouldn't suprise me if he considers a medical hardship.
  23. If he isn't able to play by the DU series, that's the last weekend in Jan., when does he and the coaching staff consider calling it a year? It's a mute point if he has no intention of taking a medical hardship year. He'd have to get into game shape plus getting him back into the rotation mix. Just a thought?
  24. Agree...this coming weekend plus the following 2 will tell us where this team really is. We just took 4 points from 'kato and we are still 6th in the league (WI has 2 games in hand). Playing a lower seeded league team again this coming weekend in UMn requires us to get of the majority points! A split will do us little. BTW...Knight says after Fri. game he's "ok". Brad states he's out 4-6 weeks and "probably longer".
  25. I was wonder if you or Goon were going to catch that! My $ was on you! Not that Goon is slow or anything...
