Thought the Davidson line is looking strong tonight. Look for that line to get, as TH would say, a "dirty" goal.
-
UAA playing much better. Was 3-0 after 1st last night and could of easily been 5-0. UND looking good, but this one looks like it has the makings of a bounce here or there type game.
-
Thanks for the wisdom since your squad just went to 1-7! By the way, Fargo is now all out of vas after what Bohl and your boys took tonight!
-
I'm with you...at what point does this kid say enough's enough? The little he played last year, he wasn't that bad and I can't imagine he is that far off from the 2 frosh on the 3rd D pairing???

Off topic on this thread, but watched some of the UM/DU game last night...Minny is for a long haul this year. At least when they had the piss yellow hair thing going awhile back, they fought for each other a little bit. They got ZERO heart and it was evident again last night.

My two brothers live in Springfield, Mo. and both UND guys. They said even though Mo. St. is no good, SU sucks and Mo. St. will push the Herd to 1-7. Yes, my friend...level headed UND fans! BTW..14 all at half in the Kleinssaser-dome!
-
You need to see a team progress a little from game to game...this team has gone backwards fast! Muss and crew are the worst coaching staff I've seen at UND in my 20+ yrs of making in game adjustments...it's brutal!
-
One thing I liked about Dell last night, even though he face few shots, is he seems to move laterally very well. Was in good position no matter where the puck was.

I've been extremely disappointed with Landry's play...and the D line play...and the secondary play...and the...

Can Faison pull a quick switch and get Mayville St. to come to town next week. I know there NAIA, but...

Hey, I'm with you. If he gives up 2 cheap ones every time out and we score 3...it's all good. He just hasn't looked as sharp as last year, but it's only a few games into the season.
-
Just tuned in...obviously I can tell we are getting smoked by the last couple posts, but what's the score?
-
Biggest strength of this team without question. VV, Zajac and Malone are just beasts. May not be the flashiest, but in D1 hockey, find me 3 better centers that anchor the top 3 lines on any team. Once VV starts finding the net, watch out! Watched only the 1st period last night...could have easily been 5-0 after 1. E will give up a softy...normally does. UND 4-2 tonight.

Probably going to use Gayle's $50K Foundation salary for the down payment!
-
Worst loss in Sioux history...that's debatable. The fact that our coaching staff had this team ill prepared and was also grossly out-coached last Sat...that's NOT debatable. Two things I've noticed in the games I've watched. 1) we come out flat most of the time to start the game 2) we are awful at making any adjustments during the game on either side of the ball.

First, it would actually take some effort and hard work by those mentioned to make a true positive impact. Second, it would require an understanding of the ACTUAL issues with their own people. Third, it would require them to actually take some accountability for the actions of their own people. Fourth, it's always more convenient to blame someone else for your ills. You are right on the money with this post! IMO, there is not a bigger fraud in this nickname issue than Leigh Jeannote. Even though he has been quiet lately, he is a complete and utter jack ass! I know this from personally dealing with him. He is vindictive and an out-right hate monger towards anyone who is pro-nickname!

Ya...they like SUU over their squad too!!!
-
Now in the future they won't have any money to build their hockey arena, which Chapman and the Foundation wanted to be built in Chapman's backyard so he could also use it for social events and family functions!

I think Kristo has lots of talent, but he has to learn that he doesn't have to shoot the puck every time he touches it in the offensive end. His poor shot and subsequent getting caught below the puck off the glass on the PP lead directly to the shorty. UM was much better than Fri. and we were more careless with the puck. Eids made some great saves but seemed out of position much more last night. Vandy's line was better than some are giving them credit for this weekend...he had lots of chances. Just didn't cash in. Zajac and Malone are so strong up the middle. Their lines will continue to get better and better. Malone was looking to dismantle 'lil tDon during the scrum. But as usually Toni didn't want any of that action! Was disappointed with Cichy this weekend...was expecting more from him after watching him last weekend. After watching this team over the first 4 games, I really like what we got!!! Overall it was a fun game to be at. Atmosphere and crowd energy was great!

However many steps forward you feel this FB progam took after the Texas Tech game, multiply those steps by 10 and that's how many steps this program went backwards after today's game! 3 words for you: PA-THET-IC!!

The Forum reports that the reason to get the President's house done, quickly and well ahead of schedule, by June was the fact that Joe's daughter was getting married and that they wanted the reception at the new house! Are you kidding me???
-
Eidsnees has to look sharper and play better than he did last week. If he does, I like UND tonight 4-3.
-
Correct and I think this "Foundation" was getting fed up with Joe as well. BUT those two entities need to take some responsibility for creating "the Joe" that has bullied and spent as he has over the past few years.
-
Joe isn't a mole. He's a weasel!!! And it must be a mountain because from his vantage point at the bottom, it must have been pretty high to the top otherwise he wouldn't have called it quits!
-
So Joe and Gayle push for the new President's home to be done ahead of schedule, which sky rockets costs. This "Foundation" knowingly picks a floor plan that will exceed the 900K budget and Gayle is on that Foundation board, and now because of the overrun costs on the house, it is reported that NDSU has kicked THOUSANDS of university and tax payers dollars to help pay for the overrun costs. Really amazing how so many want to give Joe and his wife a pass?
