Osterholm in an interview with Yahoo! suggested he's in favor of........wait for it.......a 4-6 week national lockdown. His reasoning is that a vaccine won't be available soon enough to combat "pandemic fatigue" so the government needs to lock people down as to make sure the citizens of this country don't continue to make poor public health choices that would spread the virus. Again this guy if a f-n clown. He's an embarrassment to "science" cause everyone knows the last lockdown worked great on all fronts. Have a vaccine that will be distributed to this region and nationwide within a couple/few weeks. How is a 4 week government mandated lockdown going to go over in this nation when we were all told a vaccine would be the widget to help get this country back on track?

With ND having the mask to mask non-quarantine crirtia for close contact and most school requiring mask where are all these teachers getting exposed? Spouses? Family? Bars? Clubs? Based on the current ND guidelines if its not household spread it is due to lack of responsibility on the teachers....or am I missing something.

To be honest not sure of the specifics on this and who these individuals will be able to work with or around. Optics aren't good but I do know most systems have had their own "hotlines" to determine who can go back to work from day 1.

There is zero to do on campus other than to get tested. Least gets kids out of their dorms. I wouldn't be surprised if UND sees a drop in enrolled students for spring semester. The mostly online education is a waste of time and dollars then factor in zero college experience.

Minneapolis is looking at bringing in police officers from other jurisdictions as the city faces an officer shortage and an increased wave in violent crimes. It's a metro area that will ultimately get was it deserves. It will be the Midwest version of Portland in 12 months.
