  1. MN had 150000 citizens apply for unemployment 3/16- 3/23. 10x of all claims in February.
  2. We been down that road here.....multiple times. Those statistics are irrelevant based on the current crisis. Try to stay on point here.
  3. I absolutely see your point but you do understand that all those examples don't need the government to make them shelter in place. They can do that on their own.......for as long as they would like. BTW......I personally saw all those examples you gave out and about during sub zero temps during the peak of flu season a couple months ago. My apologies for the double above.
  4. Nothing to see there. Just collateral damage for some here.
  5. Dow futures are pretty flat this morning.
  6. To the dismay of many here Trump looking to restart the economy and open the country back up by Easter.
  7. This flu season.....1.2% based on the CDC median estimates of total infected and total hospitalized. Last year's flu season was 1.4%.
  8. I'm just pointing out statistically this country has many other societal ills that take lives....many more as of today. If you want to believe this country is going to have 100000 lives taken from coronavirus in 4 weeks like the "experts" keep parroting that's up to you.
  9. My two best friends own and operate small businesses in MT and WA. Both laid off half their employees yesterday.
  10. At least the coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours is finally more than those children killed by abuse/neglect on a daily average so that "fact" will fit your narrative.
  11. 14 coronavirus deaths in the US in last 24 hours. 184 deaths from drug overdose in the last 24 hours in this country (average per day from last year's death total).
  12. For those that don't like numbers......if Italy were to not have a single new case or death moving forward the US would need 18000 new cases with 30% death rate, THIRTY, of those cases to match Italy's numbers as of now.
  13. You said this flu season. CDC estimates 22K to 59K deaths this flu season........ we'll go with the median of 41K deaths. Average length of flu season is 13-15 weeks.....we'll go with 15 weeks or 105 days. 41000 รท 105 = 390 deaths per day Now even if we take the time from this CDC estimate: October 1 thru March 14 that's still around 250 deaths per day.
  14. ...and there goes the economy in Pick City.
  15. Stop.......just stop. Let's talk about Italy.
  16. K.......let's do the math out loud. 44000 confirmed cases as of now. Let's say another 6000 are positive but their testing hasn't been processed or finalized. We have 50000 in this country that are "confirmed" infected....check those boxes. 50% roughly are infected but won't get confirmation because their symptoms were minimal or asymptomatic......50000 more. So we "know" there are at minimum 100000 infected..........and we have 550-600 deaths. Hey where did this go??? BTW I make house calls......
  17. Not everyone one needs a test. Did you miss that memo?
  18. Sorry......I was way off. And the average death age in Italy "from Corona" is mid 80s. ***News Flash*** If you are old and sick you're gonna die.
  19. Some? Lots? How many are/were infected in this state that are/were asymptomatic or minimal symptoms that won't get a test, got better/getting better but are not in the checked box as "another case"? Do you remember the percentage?
  20. As is......then as the President plans to reevaluate after the 15 days and go from there. Regardless of what you think.......when this shakes out in the end the death rate is what will matter. 99% of Italy's deaths were over 50 years of age WITH at least three pre-existing health conditions.
