  1. Agreed. I think once they start playing the tougher part of their schedule that they will come down to earth quite a bit.
  2. Welcome to the board, Debbie Downer!
  3. I wonder what the Sioux record would be if even half of Rocco's post shots had went in the net instead.
  4. Hyperbole is one of my specialties.
  5. Maybe they were confused and talking about the GTG scored with the extra attacker.
  6. Wow, that was awesome! Great win UND after dominating play all weekend. Needed at least one win this series. We get it. You don't need to mention it every other post. You use the hot goalie phrase about 1000 times more than Schloss ever has.
  7. Isn't it hard to make saves from behind the net?
  8. What are they doing out there?
  9. Bring Back Gasparini!! And I can't believe you think national titles are still important...those are so, like 2000, or something.
  10. Yale with its 2nd consecutive OT win in Colorado, this one against CC. Not a good weekend at all for CC/DU. Yale had almost 50 sog tonight against CC. Hopefully UND can take care of business next weekend in the Springs.
  11. Denver didn't have a good weekend at all, losing two home games this weekend against Yale and UNH. They got out to a 3-0 lead tonight against UNH and even took a 4-2 lead into the 3rd period...only to allow 4 3rd period goals and lose 6-4. Also...UNH and BC look legit this year. It is early, but those look to be two pretty tough HEA teams.
  12. Just looking at the current WCHA standings, and UND certainly has a brutal WCHA schedule this year. Using the current standings, UND only has one series each with the bottom 6 teams (UAA, BSU, UMD, UW, MSUM, and MTU). Ouch. Couple rough series in a row with CC and DU back to back. UND doesn't normally play great in the Springs, and DU is tearing it up to start the season. I think a 2-2 record in those 4 games might be realistic, especially until UND can figure out this Saturday thing.
  13. I agree with you. In fact, I'm planning on jumping ship on this season completely. Maybe next season ('13-14) we'll be better. No wait, Kristo will be gone and take all the offense with him. But the following season ('14-15), we'll have a stacked lineup. Crap, forgot that Grimaldi will probably leave early. Well, then I guess we have the '15-16 season to look forward to. Go UND in 2015-2016!!
  14. And UNH goes out to a commanding 4-0 lead over CC at the halfway point only to see CC come back and tie it. 4-4 tie.
  15. I am thinking it is time to jumble the lines up a bit. They need to do something with that top line to get it rolling. Both Kristo and Knight need to get some serious puck luck going. As does Grimaldi...how many posts have those three hit so far this season? If Parks can make it back into the lineup, that would do a ton to help spread the wealth a bit. I wouldn't be opposed to putting Grimaldi on that top line with Kristo and Knight...sure it would stack the heck out of the talent, but I think the rest of the guys aren't slouches either. Guys like Easy Mac, OD, Rowney, Gaarder, etc have been putting the puck in the net too. That's not even including Parks, who hopefully can skate this weekend. Time to get that top line going and hopefully they can maintain momentum then if separated down the line...
  16. Time for Kristo and Grimaldi to show off their speed and puck skills on the big ice.
  17. Might as well call the season...
  18. Ben Rosen is a senior with 4 career goals. One of which was an ENG. What exactly does he have to get cocky about?
  19. Don't forget Forbort! He's shown a great knack for getting pucks on (and in) the net already this season. Just wrists them from the point instead of winding up a giant slapper. Put him on one of the points.
  20. Wow has Forbort progressed a lot since last season. He is very calm with the puck, makes great decisions, and seems to have worked on his shot from the point. Not only is he getting it to net, but he's finding the back of it plenty in the early going here (if you include the exhibition games). I like what I'm seeing from our entire d-corps.
