  1. -BC bounces back and beats UNH 5-2. Gaudreau is right back at it, with 3 pts. -Michigan continues downward spiral, losing 5-4 to Alaska. -Duluth beats Tech 1-0. -UW cools off MSUM, beating them 4-3 with 30 sec left in OT. -UMN looks beatable for most of the game against UAA, and then scores 2 goals on a 5min major PP to close out the game with a 4-3 win. -UNO absolutely dominates DU for most of the game, but Faulkner can't stop a beach ball in net and DU wins 7-4.
  2. My thoughts: -Penalties on Kristo and MacWilliam. Both horrible penalties that you never want to see your "leaders" taking. Kristo's cost the team a goal and Mac's cost the team a chance at scoring the equalizer. -MacMillan's goal was a beauty. Just a great individual effort. -CC's first goal was incredibly weak. Saunders needs to make that stop every time. The last two games have shown a pretty lackluster effort from UND. Time to step it up and get the split against CC before making the big trip to Mariucci.
  3. Bowling Green takes down Michigan and UMN handles Notre Dame. Michigan on a downward spiral and UMN looks tough after the BC/ND games. We can hope that UMN is peaking early. The series at Mariucci in a couple weeks should be good.
  4. A nailbiter in Alaska with UW beating UAA 1-0. A combined 34 sog...must have been a fun one to watch. UW gets the sweep.
  5. How huge is it having Parks back in the lineup? So good along the wall and in front of the net. And I'm guessing he's not even "up to speed" quite yet either. Will be interesting to see what they do with the lines with Grimaldi back next week...
  6. BSU ties WMU 2-2. Danny Mattson with 1g/1a for BSU. MSUM sweeps Providence, shutting them out tonight 4-0. Not a good weekend for SCSU. They get swept by NMU, losing tonight 2-1. CC swept by UNO, lost 3-1 tonight. DU sweeps Cornell, winning 2-1 tonight. Leblanc from SCSU and Walters from UNO both register one point tonight, so Knight (and Kristo) both make up one point on them in the scoring race.
  7. Gold. Kick ars. Thanks Rocco!
  8. And BC got outshot 48-22 by Yale. Ouch. Big nights for both Archibald (3g) and Zombo (3a). Would have been nice to see both of them in UND sweaters. Walters had a 4pt night too, so Knight doesn't make up any ground on him in the scoring race. Denver beats Cornell 5-1. SCSU cooling off a bit? They got crushed 6-2 by NMU. MSUM keeps rolling with a 4-3 OT win against Providence. BSU gets beat 6-0 by WMU.
  9. Is anyone aside from Poganski or Wilkie scoring for the US?
  10. It's such a simple concept, one would think even Gopher fans would understand it.
  11. "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." ~Wayne Gretzky
  12. Quinnipiac ends up sweeping UNO this weekend. Didn't see that coming.
  13. Seriously impressive 6-0 win for DU over BU. Denver went a whopping 4/8 on the PP. Yowzers.
  14. I can't believe UMD got beat by Maine and then crushed by FSU. I thought they had started to turn things around... Cool to see MTU crush Michigan like that. Is Michigan's NCAA streak going to end this year?? Ex-Sioux Mike Cichy had the lone WMU goal today against MSU. UMN beats AF 4-0.
  15. Mitch MacMillan too. The list could go on and on. Also, stud UND recruit Wade Murphy was originally a Merrimack recruit before decommitting and then committing to the Sioux.

The Omaha Lancers AAA website doesn't list stats yet for this season.
  17. Yowzers, great week of recruiting for Hak and Co!
  18. Can't we just all agree that BC has been the best program of the last 10 years and leave it at that?
  19. I love watching this tourney every year. Awesome that they have been televising a ton of the games the past few years.
  20. Sioux are now in 2nd place, but have 2 games in hand on 1st, 3rd, and 4th. I'll take that!
  21. That result surprised me. I thought UNO would definitely be able to take it to them, especially at home. We'll see what happens there tomorrow night. DU continues to slide a bit...managing only a tie against BSU, despite having two 5-min PP during the game. CC also still sliding back, losing to SCSU 5-3 after SCSU scored 4 goals in the 3rd. I bet UW wishes that they could play Huntsville every weekend.
  22. Hopefully someone will post the goal highlights!
  23. Is that already a 4pt game for Knight? Yowzers. Tearing it up!
