CC with 3 goals in the 2nd period. Thankfully only 1 counted. Man, the CC team sure likes to chirp the UND bench a lot. I know UND aren't exactly world-beaters this season, but I can't imagine chirping that much when you're the last place team in the league.

If I were a fan of another program, I wouldn't be laughing at UND fans, I'd be laughing at the play of the team and how offensively challenged they are.

They needed to do that last weekend to close out their OOC schedule on a high note and set themselves up as best as possible in PWR. CC is a MUCH tougher opponent than Canisius, but UND has shown to play to the level of their competition this season...so honestly I wouldn't be surprised with a sweep in either direction. Prediction: Wilkie with a hatty in each game and UND scores 2 for the whole weekend.

To be fair, Eddie did skate it out every now and then.

That's the problem with the last two seasons...woulda, coulda, shoulda. Berry isn't going anywhere after this season, but something needs to change. If that means bringing in a different assistant to run the abysmal PP, then so be it. Hoping that some of our recruits that are doing so well right now can come in and score some goals. And that's asking a lot to pin the hopes of next year's team on a freshman class.

Oh my. Pride is the last thing that should have been felt after getting swept by Canisius. Replace the word proud with embarrassed and that sounds more accurate.

They play Mercyhurst. I bet they allow 2 goals in the first period alone and match UND's weekend total.

There ya go. Swept by Canisius. Might be the worst sweep in decades... Horribly pathetic. It'll be funny watching Canisius let in 7+ goals next weekend when they play Mercyhurst. UND players and coaching staff should be embarrassed.

And that's game again. Now way that UND scores 2 in one period against this powerhouse. Swept by Canisius. Oh my.

2 goals through 5 periods against Canisius, who has been getting lit up all season (until this weekend) is downright embarrassing.

Remember when Zach Parise had four points alone in his first ever collegiate game (oddly enough, against Canisius)? And then had 8 points after his second game? He'd have been the leading scorer of this team after four games.

This team just doesn't want to play in the NCAA's this year. They enjoyed the extra time off last year.

And Canisius. At least they swept UAA, but that second game was a little close for comfort.

This team has shown pretty consistently this season to play to the level of their competition. Which is great because it means they can potentially beat the upper teams in college hockey...but unfortunately also means we get games like the Manitoba, Bemidji, etc.
