In Dell's case it would have been a goal. The puck went between his head and his glove with plenty of room to spare to his shoulder. It was a matter of an inch that prevented the goal.

Was there as well and that was as good as it gets.

Because if a puck hits the post or crossbar it means the shooter beat the goalie...sure it doesn't count for anything, but had it been a fraction closer to the net, it could have been a very different result. For example, during Friday's UND/Wisconsin game, each goaltender got beat once. Gregoire beat Gudmanson for a goal, and a Badger (Smith?) beat Dell, but it hit crossbar. It could have been a very different game based on fractions of an inch.

Don't like getting knocked on do ya? Sioux-cia said UW's students were louder (true), and I'm saying the old farts at the Kohl Center are much louder than the ones sitting on their hands at The Ralph. I've heard the "I've been going to Sioux games since before you were born" dozens of times...it doesn't make you any louder or the atmosphere any more intimidating. Facts are facts, didn't mean to get anyone's Depends in a bunch.

You are a woman and are treated as such in most cases. The machoness of being a male brings out the worst in some people. Also, you can complain about our student section all you want, but Wisconsin's ENTIRE crowd gets into chants and cheers, not just the students....unlike our old geezer crowd who is there to say they were there when they have their morning coffee with all the other geezers they hang out with.

Friday night the fans were worse than Saturday night. I actually sat by some cool season ticket holders right at center ice on the media side. Any heckling they did was all in good fun, and I was sure to give it back to them knowing we were just enjoying the game. Friday night though I was by some ultra-libs who I don't mesh well with.

Didn't know that was possible...but, they did play a weekend against the Gophers and we haven't, that's good for extra minutes right there.

I'll take a split against a very good team on the road, will take the sweep as usual though.

We're a few days early to be discussing Omaha. One weekend at a time.

There are a ton for Friday, and much less for Saturday. The ones that are posted for Saturday are either out of my price range or in a section I don't want to sit. I'm going to end up scalping some since it's so close to game day.

I think they need to renovate the golf course out there.

You can dislike it all you want, but it comes with the territory for some people to say "we." I don't think I know a single life-long Packers fan that doesn't refer to the team as "we." Maybe because we're 12 time world champions.

To be fair to Jordan Schmaltz, a lot of kids get that "potential top ten" label, including a number of Sioux recruits. I'm sure he'll be a good one, but there's only 10 kids that ultimately get that honor. I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up in the 2nd or 3rd round come draft day (and that's no offense to Jordan).

I'd like to know too. I'll be there both games (still trying to snatch up some Saturday tickets, but I'll be there), so maybe we can coordinate a common meeting ground. State Street Brats hosted UND fans when we were at the Madison regional in 2008, so maybe that'd be a good place to start coordinating something at.

Quite a bragging point for the Vikings... "We have never won a Super Bowl, but according to some guy in Grand Forks, we have one of the best announcers in the NFL!"

Hmmm....I'd like to see these Seawolves vids then. Not sure how they have slipped past me in my daily travels.

I'm not gonna lie, I fell asleep watching halfway through the third period and woke up after the game to find out they lost. Doesn't sound like I missed anything.

Just a stupid play nowhere near the puck. If you see the back, STOP...it's not THAT hard. I've thinking this for awhile, but now it's confirmed in my mind, Mario Lamoureux is the worst player on the team. I don't care about his "omg, he hustles all the time" crap. If you give him the puck, it's a guaranteed turnover. He sometimes plays defense, but then he does dumb stuff like CFB 90 yards from the puck.

Make it 2 goals and 1 assist...getting a point for all 3 Blackhawks goals.
