Sorry, got a little busy the last couple days. I'll try and get it done late tonight. Sorry bud.

Nice find! You know where to send the pics. And Sioux-cia, when are you going to send over your collection?
  3. It sounds like this Bradley-Doppes lady is running the show like the chick who owns the Cleveland Indians in the movie Major League.

Sounds like a deal. As my late golf coach used to say, "No rush, hurry up!"

    Jerseys

He wore 8. There were the normal white, green, and black dazzles (counting both seasons, that's 6). Then they wore that green Nike throwback for the Hall of Fame game on October 4, 2003, and then the Military Night (replica style with patches) against the US U-18 Team on December 5, 2003. So, two of those are one-game-wonders. When you going to let me post your collection?? fargosioux has one of the nicest game-worn collections out there.

I agree. I'd even say 12k is on the low side. Toews' Blackhawks gamers go for 4-5k typically and those are a dime a dozen. There are only 7 game-worn Toews Sioux jerseys...one of which he only wore one game. Then, I believe he has one in his own "collection" which leaves 5 true Toews gamers on the market. In one single 82 game season in the NHL (not even counting playoffs where they get even more new jerseys) he'll wear 6 sweaters alone (and that doesn't count any alternates).

Except for the one still coming.
  8. And Duncan put in 31 to Bjugstad's 21.
  9. I think we're going to catch a break next year. A lot of teams in the NCHC are poised to take a step back next year talent-wise (including us). Fortunately our step back coincides with many other teams (except Miami).

Finally got the recap of the UND Auctions up on Sioux-Jersey.com http://sioux-jersey.com/#/blog/4552031202
  11. I've said it before...the only semi-realistic option out there that I'd even consider replacing Hak with is Mike Cavanaugh. (and by semi-realistic, I mean people like Mike Babcock aren't options)
  12. Kristo will never play in the E...unless it's for a very short stint. If it came to that, he'd go straight to Europe where his game would fit in pretty darn well. I see Kristo as much more of an AHL/Euro guy than an NHL guy myself, but to think he'll play in the ECHL is pretty far-fetched.
  13. Technically he doesn't. You have to use your four years in a five year window (unless a special exemption is made).
  14. I wonder who becomes the next Principal at Denver now.
  15. Who will run the WCHA Officiating offices in Denver now?

    Rocco

Rocco will be fine. There are so many players who had great careers at UND who didn't put the puck in the net as much as they were maybe capable of. Rocco Grimaldi - 13g 23a - 36 (And he missed some games because of the WJT) Danny Kristo: 15g 21a - 36 Ryan Duncan: 16g 20a - 36 Matt Frattin: 4g 11a - 15 Travis Zajac: 17g 19a - 36 Drew Stafford: 11g 21a - 32 Nathan Gerbe: 11g 7a - 18 (similar type of player) Marty Sertich: 9g 20a - 29 (another small forward...won Hobey) I think Rocco stacks up just fine with a bunch of other great former Sioux players in the recent era, as well as other similar types of players in their freshman year.
  17. I'm not part of the Fire Hak crowd, but Mike Cavanaugh comes to mind. I think Western hockey is stuck in their ways of "Old Time Hockey" and it's biting us when it comes to tournament play. The future is in the Eastern style, whether we like it or not. Adapt or get run over.
  18. You mean Roche to Bochenski to Oshie to Kristo.
  19. This is the first year under Hakstol that the team hasn't: A) Won the MacNaughton B) Won the Broadmoor C) Made the Frozen Four For 8 straight years, at least one of those things has happened...I think that's pretty darn awesome. (Techinically 9 straight, if you count the MacNaughton Blais won in his final year at the helm)
  20. Hakstol doesn't seem like a guy who's ok with not winning one...at least to me.
  21. Fire Jim!
  22. Speaking of Corban Knight... 6g 7a freshman year (Danny Kristo is an exception to the freshman rule)
  23. Unless they're Marty Schottenheimer after going 13-3 with the San Diego Chargers. Look how many titles they've won with their "new" coach.
  24. Well, there's always hope for our under-performing freshmen. Here's what Brad Malone, Evan Trupp, and Matt Frattin's freshman year looked like: Malone: 1g, 2a Frattin: 4g, 11a Trupp: 8g, 5a
