Since I didn't pay for the webcasts (yet) since I wanted to wait to see how they were for others, I might just call support and ask them why I'm not getting the games. When they tell me I didn't create an account, I'll tell them it must be on their end.

Viewing options for Sioux hockey games this season
Big A HG replied to fightingsiouxfan86's topic in Men's Hockey
Will you be able to stream old games during the season? For example, if you can't watch tonight's game, can you log-in and view the game the next day or later in the week? -

Sneak peek I put together...thanks for posing Mr. Gleason.

True, per Hajdu on Twitter.

I'm not trying to argue. I understand your points 100%. However, creating awareness for breast cancer is like trying to explain McDonald's to someone living in the USA. Pretty much everyone already knows and understands both. People are already aware. The goal is to raise money for a cure, and I personally think ditching a jersey doused in pink for something that actually looks cool to bring even more money would have been a better venture. My grandmother died of breast cancer, but I think she would have died quicker if she ever saw her Cubbies wearing pink on the field opposed to something else that could have brought in some money.

I know pink has been the big trend with cancer awareness/research/etc, but I bet they'd make more money selling a one-off jersey that actually looks cool.

Here are some updates on the upcoming authentic jerseys and other pertinent jersey info for the coming fall. Click here.

Hail to the King would be a great(!) warmup song....terrible goal song. Way too slow of a pace and too much dead energy. Try this on for size: http://youtu.be/VJrbHapH5pM?t=2m45s

This is nothing new to any Sioux fan, but he makes some awesome points. The way he described this whole ordeal in the last line of the piece is pretty eye-opening.

That is a GREAT trophy. Wow! So often nowadays people try to reinvent the wheel when it comes to trophies. This, however, has a great traditional feel that doesn't look cheap or chintzy. Love it!

No, late September is when they're expected. Also, it's looking like you'll have the option of having an NCHC or WCHA patch on them. They will come without one, and you can have the one of your choice added via RBK Authentics. I believe the patches will be sold separately. This is a nice option for those that "must have" authentic versions of both since the last season+ they've had WCHA patches, but going forward will have an NCHC patch.

I'd like to see the Sioux fans buy up as many tickets as possible in that three game pack and then keep the other game tickets. Hearing the crickets in those other games would be funny.

He was said to be out with an "Undisclosed Ailment" at the time.

Thanks for the shout out Siouxperfan7. I have a bunch more planned for the site in the future, but I'm waiting for some updates from my host to roll out (they are way behind schedule). The site is currently loads as a Flash site, but there is a conversion in the works for HTML5. This will allow non-Flash products to load the site properly (some mobile devices...especially Apple) among other things. I'm still missing two jerseys from the Encyclopedia (1959 Koronis throwback & Shawn Walsh night Geo). In terms of photos of the actual jerseys, I have quite a few, but it's a bit project to add them without knowing how the future updates will change the site on my end, so I'm holding off for now. The graphical representations of the jerseys are pretty darn accurate with many of the old logos being completely remade by hand and even the seams in the jerseys are as close to authentic as possible. There are a few tweaks here and there I plan to do to improve the accuracy on some, but the discrepancies are very minor and don't really take away from any of the design aspects. If anyone has any photos (even if they are black & white) from the late 1980s and early 1990s, the final years of the Blackhawks style logo, I'd really appreciate it. There are a few nuances and oddities with a few of the smaller patches that have evaded me even after looking through thousands of photos. What makes it even more confusing is there were multiple variations in the same game from one Sioux player to another. One last question...anyone on here pick up that Finley gamer on ebay that ended a couple days ago? I was sleeping on that one...

I am of the opinion that Chelsea Dagger needs to take a hike. It was fun for awhile, and will be remembered for awhile, but time for a change. I too feel like it rips off the Blackhawks. Light 'em Up isn't a bad song, but doesn't have the right kind of energy for a goal song. It would be a great warmup/intro vid song though. I wish I had a different suggestion, but don't at the moment. My first choice would be Stand Up and Cheer, though.

My comment about them losing is a bit tongue-in-cheek. Our goalie wasn't up for it that night (with little help from the defense) and you have to remember a lot of those key players were freshmen that year.

2005-06 in the WCHA was a loaded year in general. Wisconsin was stacked, so was Minnesota. Denver and CC had some good guys, and even Mankato had something like 4 guys from their team see action in the NHL at some point. The 2006 draft saw 4 WCHA players in the top 7 picks (Johnson, Toews, Kessel, Okposo).

'05-06 1st Rounders: Toews Oshie Zajac Lee Finley Stafford 2nd Rounders Kozek Chorney Smaby Other notables: Duncan (Hobey winner following year) Porter (full-time NHLer) Watkins (saw a game in the NHL) Spirko (put up over 30 pts each of his two years at UND) How did they ever lose?

2006-07 Chay Genoway Frozen Four Swift is up for sale. This is a great opportunity for those who are either looking to add a Swift or a Frozen Four jersey to their collection! Details here: http://sioux-jersey.com/#/buysell/4551922795

Even if he does turn out to be a great college player, you can't fault Hak & Co. for missing out on him because you can only recruit on what you see right now. And, as of right now, he's not worth the roster spot compared to our other recruits. Hindsight is always 20/20, but you don't get the fortune of knowing a kid's future when he is ready to commit to a program.

I don't think Seth Jones will see one game on the Avs roster next year. Why? I don't think he'll go to the Avs. ---Colorado was very poor offensively and defensively this year, but I feel like they are going to be looking to add some offense to a pretty young defensive corps. They have very little to rely on offensively. ---Florida was even worse offensively than Colorado (and also worse defensively), but I bet they try to snag a highly-skilled forward as well. ---With Tampa in the 3rd spot, I feel that this is where Seth Jones will go. Tampa Bay has plenty of offense, now it's time to stack the defense. Seth would be a perfect fit here with his defensive ability but won't slow down the offense they have. My top three draft picks: 1) COL: Jonathan Drouin - F - Halifax 2) FLA: Aleksander Barkov - Tappara (Finland) 3) TAM: Seth Jones

You're probably the only one who thought that the previous Dallas uni set was good looking, but to each his own I guess. This is a vast improvement for them.

1) Cary Eades' team didn't exactly win the title this year. (Familiar trend that Hak often gets blamed for at UND) 2) Hakstol is also a recipient of the same award I'm not trying to knock Cary's coaching ability, because I think he's a great coach. I just don't see how things would be any better at UND if Cary was head coach.
