And I'll take anything 54 or smaller.

For those that think the NCAA has purposely screwed us in terms of our NCAA Tourney matchups is assuming that those who make these brackets actually know a lick about College Hockey.

Clarke is a very capable goalie, but Zane's best is better than Clarke's best. You take the risk of Gothberg giving up the soft goal or two for that chance of him getting really hot for 4 straight games, because I think he can. With Saunders, I don't see a title. With Gothberg, I see big risk, but big reward. Ride Zane.

Seemed to have worked fine for me.

I ain't scared of the Gophers. You have to beat 4 good teams to win the title.

Really? And the Pairwise has been around for how long?
-
I have three greens and a black packed...the black for if we lose. I don't trust wearing white around rodent fans.

I'd probably go straight to eBay or Amazon. I know Frozen4sioux has done some customization to the laces to make them shorter which has turned out pretty cool...maybe he'd have some tips for you as the shortest green laces I can find are 36".

It's not THAT crazy, haha.

Yeah, I only have 1 of the 2011-12 style, and with the new "North Dakota" style coming in fall, I'm going to have to play catch-up. I've been trying to persuade the manager of the Sioux Shop into a neat idea for the NoDak jerseys, which I think most jersey collectors would appreciate. Mum's the word right now as I don't want to get anyone's hopes up.

You are correct, the whites went from green letter/number to black and the blacks went from green number to white (names stayed the same). However, there were two other changes on the 2011-12 jerseys from the 2009-11. 1) The Vector logo on the back, above the nameplate, was removed; 2) The WCHA patch moved from the "tail" to the chest. So, even though the name/number colors didn't change on the green jerseys, it's still a different sweater technically...and I'm a rube.

A couple months. Thankfully they were helpful in getting me as many of the jerseys they could prior to the Final Five. However, they are a big-time operation as they do many of the on-field/ice customizations for many pro/college teams...including the Sioux. So, return times can take as long as 3-4 months depending on when you send them in. Another member here sent in a couple of his RBK Edge authentics with mine, and his are just as awesome. He got his green Edge with Blood on it and his black with Trupp. Hopefully around the same time next year I'll have another 6 or so to send in...the three 2011-12 Sioux and the three current "North Dakota" jerseys after the authentics come out in fall.

Haha, I still owe you a beer for something like 2 years ago...can't remember what.

You betcha.

You are something else...

I don't think it gets much better than Clay Matvick.

Really awesome we had a game that got Tate in there...and what better game than his very last at The Ralph. I was hoping he'd see a few more pucks.
-
Haha, yeah, just read that right after I posted. Good to know. The Final Five tickets still are a factor!
-
I agree a little bit. However, it'd be nice to have swept because it would have locked up our spot in the NCAA. A loss tonight puts that in jeopardy now. Also, having Final Five tickets makes me nervous as well.

Awesome, thanks for the link!

What's funny is, the only reason people hate the Yankees is because they are good almost every single year. There is really no reason to hate the Yankees at all. They have strict dress and appearance codes for their athletes and are typically the professional standard of their sport. Now, someone will say, "well, they buy their team!" So? Don't blame the Yankees because they can afford to buy better players...blame MLB for the lack of a salary cap system. So, what makes the Yankees and Gophers alike, also makes them very different. Yes, both teams are either "you love 'em or you hate 'em", but people hate the Gophers for many reasons other than just being good. For the record, screw both the Yanks and the Goofs!

The Zane vs. Clarke controversy is way more interesting than it needs to be. Zane is a MUCH better goalie and has a chance to be one of the best UND's ever had. But, boy, it's hard to say that with some of the softies he's given up this year. Clarke is good, but his potential is far less than Zane's. We've seen Saunders' best, I don't think we've seen Gothberg's. When Zane is on, he's on top of the crease, he can make hard saves look easy, and he gobbles up way more shots preventing rebounds than a lot of goalies we've had in recent years. If he'd just stop giving up some of those really weak ones, we have a stud in the making. I say we ride Gothberg, especially for tomorrow. If you pull the kid now, I'd hate to see his confidence shattered if we need him in the real playoffs. Scold him for his mistakes, but put him back in and tell him "you're the man, now go win us some games."

Kristo's second goal was a nice greasy one for sure, but that toe drag in traffic to get him the opportunity to shoot it off the goalie was sick.
