  1. I think Sid, but I'm not 100% sure. Cuz I think Sid got his C for the start of his second year.
  2. Put Kozek on that first line with Osh and Vande.
  3. Referring to point number 4, I don't think our first PP unit brings any more than the second.
  4. I don't think it would be any worse.
  5. I've been saying switch 'em up for awhile now.
  6. Are you all Gophers fans too? I mean, they ARE from Minnesota also.
  7. Special.....yes Deserving....no
  8. You're doing a really good job at keeping it going. I have some game-worns myself, along with a bunch of other random jerseys, but to me, I would think it would mean more to be a part of something bigger, something to bring unity as not only a team, but a whole school/fanbase. Really, is it that hard to not have to wear a jersey for ONE game (if it wasn't the right color).
  9. Thank you captain obvious. Apparently jerseys are some sort of status symbol at the games.
  10. I'm not disagreeing with someone who doesn't own green/white, but I am disagreeing with wearing a jersey just to wear a jersey like a jersey is some superior item in a crowd when it's not. More than half the crowd has a jersey, what's the big deal about HAVING to wear one.
  11. Usually.
  12. If anything a jersey is a gimmick! A unified crowd is much more intense and intimidating. Don't get me wrong, I have 16 jerseys, but if I only had one and needed to wear a different color, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to wear the right color. I don't get how wearing a jersey shows more commitment than wearing a certain color to make a unique crowd setting.
  13. Oshie-VandeVelde-Kozek Frattin-Kaip-Duncan (I think these guys would really flow well together and put up some points) Genoway-Trupp-Watkins (Watkins and Trupp would bring some great speed and scoring ops while Chay brings the defense) Forney-Zajac-Malone That's my lineup.
  14. Out of USCHO's top 20 rankings, we only have 6 games all regular season that aren't against one of those top 20 teams. (Bemidji twice, Alaska twice, Mankato twice).
  15. I know, you gotta love it! Guaranteed non-success in the upcoming seasons. I hope you're getting used to Tarvaris as well, hehe.
  16. I thought Finley has been great defensively so far this year. He never was meant to handle the puck so you can't blame him for that.
  17. Almost everyone I saw that was wearing the wrong color had a jersey. Suck it up and wear something else. A jersey doesn't make you a better fan, but getting into the game by wearing the crowd color that night does.
  18. Some of them need it.
  19. On the apparent offsides play, who was the line judge on the play, Freeman or Ulwelling?
  20. Hey Goon, you haven't done a whole lot of laughing this year then I take it... GO PACK GO!
  21. I think that the team is making the same mistakes as we were last year in the beginning. Our passing, and pass receiving is less than par. Last year it was the same way. In the second half, each pass seemed to hit everyone's stick in stride AND they kept control of it. Also, each player holds the puck too long allowing the team to adjust. They need more shorter, quicker passes to help move the puck and keep the defense off guard. It seems as if everyone is trying to make a play by themselves. The one difference is our defense. Last year we seemed to let a lot of easy goals in while this year we have had strong goaltending with pretty good defense most of the time. Not sure if this is scary knowing that we've had a lot of great goaltending in games we lost going into the second half. We need to step it up for the nights when Lammy is on. The Friday night DU game is the most recent in which he should have gotten a victory out of. We should rarely score less than 3 goals a game...that's one goal a period.
  22. It's funny how when we win everyone is all happy and is buying their frozen four tix. Then we lose again and everyone argues about everything.
  23. Exactly! If you properly supervise them at the game and use it as a teach tool, you can benefit in two ways: getting to enjoy a college hockey game AND teaching your children life lessons which they'll throw out the window when they hit their teen years anyways.
  24. I look at it like this. The whole point of having a PA announcer is part of the entertainment of going to a hockey game. People go to the game for entertainment. The PA announcer is solely there for the people. So, if the PA guy says something about Holy Cross, it's just a clean way to entertain the fans. Right?
