The swifts were sold during an online auction in summer. You can only get them from private collectors now or wait til next years batch.

One thing I forgot to mention was that this would put the most focus and pride on just being from North Dakota. You don't refer to yourself as anything else but being from ND/UND. Not sure if that makes sense, but it's cool to see a few others in agreement. Also, we wouldn't make Ralph mad, because wasn't he going to be upset if we "changed" it...not just dropped it? (referring to Sioux name)

I just wanted to see who all has one on here. I have one I was thinking about trading, but just wanted to see who is all out there. I know AZSioux has the Finley currently, and used to have the Radke. I've seen a few at some games. I saw Oshie's at home, Watkins and Chorney on the road. I know a BC fan has the Lee. Other than those, I haven't seen any others.

Why do we need a nickname? If we lost this battle, which looks likely, why can't we just be "The University of North Dakota?" Why do we need to have some cheesy alternate attachment? I'm not sure what others think about this, but I've been in multiple discussions about it and we all think it's the best idea. What do you think?

Any regional this year will be a tough one, assuming that home teams are at any. If we ended up in Colorado, I'm sure there'd either be DU or CC there. If we ended up in Wisconsin, i'm sure Wisconsin will be there. It's going to be tough. That is assuming that those teams will make it into the tourney.

That's crazy...some of my friends said they were going downtown to get some ASS...but they didn't come home with any. I'll tell them as soon as I see them that they are looking in all the wrong places and that they need to go to mankato.

I think LaPoint or Malone. Once LaPoint gets to that 200-210 mark, with his ability already, imagine how good he will be (fits into that best in a couple years mark). Malone is my other guess, because he has the size and physicality already, and has a good shot. Maybe once he gets his offense refined even more, he might stand out. When off the ice, Malone is HUGE.

I've gone with rivalries in the last couple years. I went UM, BC (can't argue post-season play in the last how many years), and then I went Wisconsin.

I hope the Vikings finish 8-8 and miss the playoffs. That way they still suck but they get a worse draft pick to boot. GO PACK GO
