I too have changed my attitude on the Ralph after the USD game. It definitely has a big time feel to it. I agree you hardly notice the upper bowl when it is dark up there. It doesn't hold the sound quite as good as the Hyslop but the bells and whistles and everything else more than make up for it. Having the bleachers on the ends really helps keep a more closed in feel to it. The biggest problem is going to be scheduling around Hockey. I for one am all for the Ralph for the more meaning full games.

How does Minot get service before Grand Forks does?

If they cut the sports that don't matter they wouldn't have anything to talk about in Fargo.

If you are DeBoer would you rather go to a 3 and 8 team or a team that won the Missouri Valley Conference. They are teams going in 2 very different directions.

What does the CORRUPTION of Joe Chapman's presidency have to do with the number of athletic directors or Presidents we have had at UND this century? There are a lot of people to blame in Fargo. There were a lot of top administrators that constantly looked the other way. Joe is laughing all the way to the bank. I wonder if he is also as humiliated as he should be. I am sure he is to arrogant to feel any remorse.

The reasons everyone did what they did have been hashed and rehashed a 100 times in the last 5 or 6 years. This guy must be living under a shell. Ther were mistakes made by a lot of people involved(for sure UND). UND and NDSU have explained their positions till most people are sick of hearing about it. It is time to move on.

Sioux women are playing better but they just don't enough depth and talent. I watched the SDSU /NDSU women's game on TV tonight. Neither team looked good in the Ist half. In the 2nd half the Rabbits looked a lot better. NDSU women have a long way to go still. I thought they were going to look a lot better than they showed. UND needs to do some good recruiting but UND would definitely fit into the Summit League very nicely.

Both intentional fouls were very questionable. I don't know what the crowd was booing for.

I guess I would asume that the Bison are clearly better this year but you probably don't have to be that good to better than the Sioux this year. Between injuries and NCAA issues we don't have much of an inside game. I would say the teams are close enough so you never know but that the Bison would probably win. I don't think either team is all that great, at least the Sioux aren't.

In a season that hasn't had much to talk about apparently the win over New Mexico State wasn't to bad. New Mexico State is 5 and 3 and beat the Bison by 6 last night. Of course I'm not sure how good the Bison are.

You have to admit that Bison fans on Bisonville were taking great delight in the fact that UND struggled with Mayville . They couldn't believe UND could lose to an NAIA school. They said UND should be embarrassed to lose to that school. They siad no DI school should even come close to losing to an NAIA school. And then rather ironically the very next night NDSU comes within a heartbeat of losing to NAIA Dickinson. Bison fans need to be a little careful of what they make fun of because it can come back to haunt you. I guess that's is why NDSU fans were so worried about UND and vice versa. Bisonville had a topic about the UND-Mayville game to.

They are a Pac 10 team but they are also ranked #14 in the NCAA. The loss today is actually not to bad considering who we were playing.

Does that mean Evers is getting a full ride? Can you give partial scholarships in DI basketball or do they have to be full? Giving someone a scholarship doesn't necessarily mean they are getting 4 years. People disappear from programs if it doesn't work out after 1 or 2 years.

I see where NDSU students are trying to get a rally together to try and get Chapman to stay. When the investigation into Chapmans spending is complete and they have some sort of total amount figured, they should take that amount and put it on every students fees each semester. They can call it the Chapman Fee. This constantly will remind the students of the excessive wasteful spending of President Joe. Then we'll see if they still want to rally.

What a way to lose total respect for a person. Now he just looks like a weasel and a coward. Now I suppose he won't have to answer any of the tough questions. He was quite the representative for the state and NDSU. I wonder if we will eventually hear the rest of the dirty details.

I did have to laugh when NDSU said there attempts to make some cuts right now have nothing to do with the whole Chapman fiasco. Who are they trying to kid. They are scrambling to save some face before the SBOHE meets later this week.

The national television coverage in a lot our sports is awesome. When the contract with Fox College Sports was announced it reminded me of a boxing match. You know when a participant takes a standing 8 count. I have a feeling NDSU took an 8 count on that announcement. I think that they were a little stunned.

If you are a Cable One customer in Fargo are you now able to get the Sioux/USD football game on FCS channel on Saturday? In other words does Cable One carry the Fox College Sports Channel?

I'm thinking the game yesterday might be a combination of a lot of things. We had some costly turnovers. The emotion of the Texas Tech and NW Louisiana might of caught up with us. Also the 3rd straight road game and travel had it's toll. Some days things just don't go the way you want them to. You know the saying when the snoball starts rolling. The other possibility is that SFA could be quite good. Time will tell. The truth is some where in between. Frankly we don't play the way we did against Texas Tech without a certain level of defensive ability. I have a feeling that yesterday's defensive performance is just a blimp on the radar. I can't wait for our game against USD. I think the players are going to very pumped to finally play at home in front of our fans.

I think Mitch Sutton is going to be a real stud for the Sioux.

For all the good things Chapman has done for NDSU, unfortunately his legacy will always be remembered for this fiasco. That is indeed sad for him.

I think Chapman should personally pay for the amount that ran over budget. This whole situation is a total joke. No excuse for it. This a sign of total arrogance.

I most Sioux fans are realistic. We are early in our transition. We are definitely going to lose games this year. We had a nice performance against Texas Tech, but it is one game. It seems that the program is headed in the right direction. I have a feeling that our defense is pretty solid. But if we get against a hot quarterback were probably going to be questioning our secondary too. I just think most Bison fans are a little shocked at where the Bison program is in their second year of elgibility. UND has a long way to go. Hopefully we continue to get better. What is going on with SDSU anyway? They definitely seem to be getting better every year. Whatever formula SDSU has we should probably be keeping a close eye on.

So we have 4 football games and 12 basketball games on TV. That is really great news. That is very good for a 2nd year transition team. It is definitely a great start and hopefully that will continue to grow in the future. The future looks very bright.

I'm not sure both games will be blowouts. I don't think Iowa State won a game in their league last year. Nothing would surprise me in this game. NDSU might just get them. It all depends on how Mertens plays. On the other hand the Sioux could be in BIG trouble. Tech would wipe up on the Bison too. I just hope we don't have any major injuries.
