Did they film this show last Fall. They probably should do a little research before they turn the camera on.

Kolpack is almost trying to make fun of the fact that UND signed a home and away with Montana. As I said before, whether the game in Grand Forks ever happens, the game in Montana is fantastic. Kolpack just begrudgingly doesn't seem to want to give Faison or UND credit for doing some very positive things for their schedules.(or at least trying)

Even if Montana buys the game out, the game in Montana makes it all worthwhile. They can use the buyout money to help secure another home game. It looks like there is a real possibility of 6 home games next year. . Except it sure would be nice to have more teams in our league. Scheduling would be a lot easier. Hopefully things will work out down the road. Everything about the future seems to be bright. Can't wait.

What a tremendous schedule for a 2nd year transition team. It is actually a great schedule for any year in DI. The only thing I'm not sure about is how good of team are we going to have?

I'm not sure what Texas Tech or Kansas were like in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 or 2007. I just stated what happened when they played last year. I would assume that the most recent game would reflect the best what the teams are like now.

If I'm not mistaken Texas Tech beat Kansas by 41 points last year. Kansas has a ways to go to catch up to Texas Tech.

I personally like when we go with a black combination uniform.

A Bison fan just said there is no upside to playing Hawaii. Is he seroius? Recruiting is the life blood to maintaining a quality program. Telling a potential recruit you are going to Hawaii to play a game is very impressive. Apparently that Bison fan doesn't have a clue.

First of all I think the legislation is totally stupid. I didn't have a problem with all the various reasons Taylor gave for not wanting to play the game (even though I don't agree with all of them). That is until yesterday when he said he didn't want to play the game because he thought the rivalry had become to negative. That excuse was just way to comical(using your words). It is very obvious that this whole situaton needs to be handled through the Presidents. Which is where it should be taken care of at. It is very apparent that discussions with Gene Taylor would be totally fruitless.

It seems like I have been under the impression through the news and various interviews that Chapman and Kelly have had more than one conversation about the situation with the rivalry. I think I even heard Gene Taylor say that. Isn't that where all decisions are going to be made anyway. I think the media is just trying to take a little of the spotlight off Taylor. We all know how Gene Taylor feels about the situation and that is where the story is starting to gain momentum. Taylor has been all over the map on this subject. The bottom line is UND has had contact with NDSU about resuming the rivalry.

Somebody please help me out. Hasn't UND been willing to play NDSU for quite some time. It seems like Bunning was trying to get the game too. I don't think UND just started this idea. Anyway were we not willing to play NDSU from 2004 to 2008? I could be wrong. I'm sure somebody knows the answer to the question.

Very impressive performance by the men. They looked like a completely different team than I've watched lately. If they hadn't missed quite a few bunnies the score really might have been interesting. The bottom line is they were within 8 points in the last 2 minutes against a very good team on the road. Super!!!!!!!! Texas A@M could very well be ranked in the top 25 shortly.

I guess I entered my previous post poorly. The much larger population in Fargo can definitely make a big difference. Granted there is competition from other schools but if marketed right at least you have a larger populaton to sell it to. The other colleges in Fargo don't draw anybody to there games anyway. When NDSU's fab four graduate and your men's team possibly becomes very ordinary, you might very well be able to shoot a cannon through the Bison sports arena at a lot of the games. Unless you have a really great team the only games a lot of people come to are the high profile games if you get them in Fargo. Fans in Fargo and Grand Forks will quit coming in a hurry unless your team is great or the game has a certain appeal. We have a lot of fair weather fans in both cities. At least the Fargo area has a lot more possible fair weather fans to choose from.

UND is just starting their transition and the attractiveness of opponents, particularly this year, isn't very good. NDSU is done with their transition and their attendance figures are what they are. They probably should be more concerned than we are. Considering the quality of our teams, the attendance figures from previous seasons, and being in the first year of transition the figures from this season so far are very much expected. The figures for this year might go up some as we get into more games after Christmas. I hope that when we finish our transition that our attendance figures are better than what NDSU is getting right now. We do have to remember one thing. Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo have a population base much larger than we have here. In other words they probably have larger attendance potential then we do. Hockey draws a lot of customers away from potential basketball fans too. People in Grand Forks have only so many nights in the week and so much money to devote to following sports teams. Hockey doesn't help our potential to grow our fan base for basketball.

What does a person have to do to get the television of the Sioux women's game tonight?

The worst aspect to this game is the fact that their coaching staff knows our team as well as we do. They probably know the tendencies, schemes, and actual pros and cons of every player on the Sioux team. I hope were making some changes to the play calling and the way we call plays. It is very likely a huge advantage to the Saluki coaching staff. Otherwise it will be like they are in our huddle.

It is rather odd to be below .500 and to have lost 4 of 5 games and be ranked in the top 25. You have to wonder about the credibility of that particular poll. I know there is more than one poll.

I have a feeling Channel 11 won't be using him again for their broadcasts. He had a tough day at the office.

Condsidering it was a very short week to prepare it was a nice win. For whatever reason you see stuff like that happen quite often. A team dominates and builds a huge lead and than a team seems to relax a bit. I don't like to see that happen but it does. Nice win.

Is there a webcast of this game? Is it free or is there a charge to get it? If we can get it what is the procedure to pick it up?Thanks for the advice. If we can get it does the broadcast start right at game time or earlier?

I would sure hope it is the Southern Illinois game. A lot of Sioux fans will be going to the USD game anyway. The Dale Lennon connection would make the Southern Illinois game a no brainer. Don't get me wrong the USD game would be good too. The Southern Illinois game should be an easy sell this year.

South Dakota gave UNI all they could handle. USD had almost a 100 more total yards and had a 14 minute advantage in possession time. They had some costly turnovers though. USD played them very tough. Cal Poly is ahead of Montana. Looks like the Great West has some quality teams even if there aren't many teams in the league.
