Didn't UND beat NDSU in some kind of a track meet last year? I could be wrong but if somebody knows let us know.

Let's be honest about it. CBI or CIT. Who cares. Half a dozen of one or 6 of another. If you aren't in the Dance it really doesn't matter. It is just a chance to play some more ball.

Kind of looks like Saul should spend more time recruiting and coaching than wasting time making really laughable charts. He does come off looking like a clown.

So the Big Sky had 4 teams either make the NCAA tournament or the NIT? How many teams from the Summit made the 2 tourneys?

NDSU is traveling to Western Michigan. Our game at Northern Iowa is a lot more appealing than that game. I am sure that Bison fans would rather be playing a Missouri Valley team. .

I'm guessing the gals saw the handwriting on the wall and weren't happy and decided to show their unhappiness by just quitting. If they would have played better this wouldn't have happened. Simple as that.

I thought I heard that if fundraising goes right that Phase 1 and Phase2 will not have a gap and it will get done basically in one phase. Correct me if I am wrong.

I agree that it should of been handled internally but I can see why the coach reacted as he did. The radio guy could have been a lot smarter in the words he used. Everybody will learn from this. It isn't exactly a surprise that the team missed some free throws down the stretch. They have done that for 3 years.

Did NDSU buy out Moorhead one time?

You have to wonder about the character of Douple as well as his ability to do a good job for his conference. I am just glad he is not running the Big Sky conference. With schools leaving the Summit and the rumblings of more to leave, it might just have something to do with his leadership.

The Summit just lost Oral Roberts last Spring. They will be losing Oakland before long. SDSU will be a lot more ordinary next year. The Summit's RPI will be taking some hits down the road if they have a conference left after a couple of years. I agree. Both conferences only get one team into the tourney anyway. The Big Sky is a lot more stable and it isn't even close.

The person that wrote that article either didn't see him play much the last 2 years or hasn't seen him play much this year. I am not sure which it is. Whichever it is, it not anywhere near accurate.

The Big Sky is looking better all the time. The Big Sky conference is spread out but most of the locations are great. A nice variety of locations. For the most part very appealing. All games are televised. I am loving the Big Sky. .Much more attractive than the alphabet soup Summit ( i guess they are getting rid of some of the letters)..

If this was just a ploy by Opara and he was just using UND as a pawn to get someone else to offer we probably wouldn't want him anyway. Hopefully that is not true. He sure looks like a good player.

Does that mean UND is hesitating? Maybe an academic situation.

If we get everyone signed that is on our committment list right now, this is going to be a very special class. And I am saying that without even knowing who else is going to be signed. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

What is the story on this recruit. Refresh my memory.

At this point I think we have a tremendous recruiting class. Because of that unforunately I think we will also have some decommits. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

If Riddle says he has decisions to make I would assume he will staying home in Oregon. Until a recruit shows up on campus a committment doesn't mean anything.

I wouldn't hold my breath that he makes it on campus.

What would make you think we might of lost a couple of commits because someone is hinting recruiting is about over. If we lost a couple you would think we have more recruiting to do.

Sometime if you are going to get some of those real stud ball players it comes near the end of recruiting. Those type of players are waiting to see what unfolds. Maybe we just need to hang in there. Maybe we will land the type of player you are looking for. It might happen. We have already landed some real good ones.

Compared to other years the caliber of signee we are getting is much improved. Most of the recruits are being offered by other very good programs. It is very exciting. It would be unbelievable if we could land the Hawkins kid. I can't wait for next season. I think some redshirts are coming off. Our schedule at home is unreal next year. We still need to land a good runningback and maybe a LB.
