I agree about the planning. Nashville is a destination that is attractive to many. The certainty of the date, place and available of reasonably priced tickets will allow me to plan and recruit others to make this truly a destination first - then topped off by the game. There might be folks in my party that wouldn't even want to go to the game but would come for 3 or four days to hang out. Most of my potential group would not be coming from North Dakota. Most of my group are not currently UND hockey fans but would go to the game. I don't know how many UND fans will be there but I would think more than Vegas. 15,000 might be on the high end but 8,000 is certainly too low. This is assuming that the team performance hasn't taken a nose dive - not worried about that. Please note that I am a casual fan - maybe 2-3 games a year. I would like to think if someone like myself would seriously attend this game that there are others like me.

I go to maybe 3-4 hockey games a year. I would seriously consider going to Nashville. I have been there a few times and had a blast. I think I can convince up to a group of ten to make Nashville an event get together. Most of them have never been to a college hockey game. The big arena with a great chance to get tickets would allow this get together to happen.

Somebody mentioned that maybe our defense wasn't fast enough. Been thinking about that comment. I think of all the (for lack of a better term with my limited football language) swing passes that seem to work against us to a back coming out of the backfield along the sides with our d-back going full speed but doesn't get there until allowing a 7 yard gain. Is this a "speed" issue?

Gotta love the classy bisons. A high level of maturity with that bunch. i suppose all teams’ supporters have a few jerks but bisons have a lot - not all of them but way more than their fair share.

I was there and I thought the atmosphere was pretty good. I think UND does a great job with many aspects of what makes for a fun time. This includes tailgating, the band, cheer teams, National anthem singers, half time. Heck the folks in the parking lot and concessions are nice.

I went to my first UND soccer game. Soccer isn’t my favorite sport but I like just going to a variety of events. When are we getting a permanent home? EGF high school has a very nice place. I assume our permanent home will have locker rooms! I am glad I went. Soccer is sort of frustrating for me. Probably because I never played it.

The negative because of no students or because I posted a picture of no students 30 minutes before kickoff??

I don’t know if the negative is because I pointed out there were no students tailgating or that there were no students tailgating??
