Do just the top six teams make the year end Summit tournament? It would be a shame if we didn't make it our first year. Boy, at times we look Ok and almost good - and then oh my. The Omaha game reminded me of how I want to remember UND men's basketball. Too bad we didn't win but there was also a lot of good solid basketball played by the good guys.

We need die hard (if you want to call them "real fans" - fine) and casual fans - both. People complain about spectators (fans) leaving early in every sport multiple times a year. You tell me what type of fan I am - I go to one or two home games a year and one or two away series. I am one of those that buy unused season ticket holder tickets. I watch many parts of games on TV. Maybe some of you don''t even consider me a fan. I went to UND and I am interested in almost all of the sports. I haven't been to a women's hockey game in a while but that's about it.

I think we expected about a 500 team this year. With that in mind, I can’t be disappointed - though that means I have accepted that we aren’t an every year contender. we have other teams doing worse. Sorry to say.

Well, after all that has happened to our UND teams in 2018-2019, here’s hoping for a big turn around with our football team next year. Please give us something to look forward to along with hopefully enjoying the ride next season.
