I was impressed with Maine last weekend. I wouldn’t be surprised if Maine was playing su in frisco.

I am certainly not the expert but will give it a try tough physical defense giving up less than 2 goals a game on the average a better than average goalie with limited blind shots at him because the defense has cleared a view for him power play offense of in the upper 40% of teams power play defense of in the upper 25% limiting stupid unforced errors like passing in front of our own goalie limiiting the amount of scoring into our own goal - limiting as in none playing with energy for most of the game once we get the lead we keep it when behind in the 3rd period we make a run at winning taking I’ll advised penalties - yes that is ND hockey - gave it a shot - fire away

Great points and I agree. I was assuming they would have the necessary financing to be successful. as far as facilities, I was assuming Sanford would just build whatever they needed. I hope the same can be said for UND.

What’s so bad about Angie going d1? I would welcome them into the summit. For me, it makes things more interesting and allows me to see a few more games. what makes us snobbish about who we are. I don’t consider us to be God’s gift to d1. i enjoyed the ncc conference back in the day.

Nice to see the progress in the facility. how long till we start winning more recruiting battles and turn into more wins on the field. I am not convinced there is a huge one to one relationship between this facility and wins on the field. time will tell - I hope so!

We have fallen so far that it will take time to get the players we need to compete.do we have the leadership needed to evaluate talent and get them to come to UND? how did we get to this situation? I used to look forward to these games. Now I may watch but as I watch us self destruct I almost find it comical. sad sad sad

I agree i was around during the late 70s and early 80s sure was fun and the place rocked we owned the South Dakota schools but I am old now and my stories get better each year!

Very true but to my question - aren’t all current scholarship players free to transfer without penalty when there is a coaching change - or is it just recruits? by the way - seen this before at the bisons and I believe they wii just reload. There is a chance a wheel Might go flat though

Can you imagine how it must feel, as a program, that others would be willing to pay our coaches that type of money to steal them?

What are the thoughts of how the year has gone so far? I initially thought the year wouldn’t be pretty. After seeing the players play I thought we might be better. Now I am back to thinking we will win about 40% of our games- finish about 6th or 7th in the conference. going to have to try to enjoy the games without expecting to win most of them - at least this year.

Yes, I agree that it now looks like a probable mini rout. Colgate got the breaks and still are down by 14 at the half. The bisons are good. 14 points might keep a few more fans in the stands for part of the 3 rd qtr

For once the bisons aren’t getting all the calls and breaks still probably a 20 point win for su but so far I am still watching 7 - 0. 2nd qtr the wheel route ALWAYS works for su
