OK, so how long is Studs out? I've never seen how bad his injury was, many someone said and I missed it. We really should be concerned about the number is dinged up players we have already. I know, football is a tough sport, but I am once again starting to question our conditioning. We shouldn't be this nicked up half way through the season. Also, I was always in the Bartles camp but Studsrud is clearly the better QB.

Seemed like a different team than what we saw last week. I really had thought my 7-4 prediction was going to be spot on for this year, but no more. We made way too many mistakes by way too many people. I'm really disappointed in the consistency of this team. It doesn't have any.

Voting Nodaks but would be equally happy with Hawks. I despise both Roughriders and Sundogs.

Eleven games is the norm in FCS. There are occasional years that we get that 12th game, depending on how the calendar falls. FCS has playoffs, so we don't want to beat each other up too much, since we have a shot at 3 or 4 more games.

I'm still not convinced Studsrud is our man for the long haul. He has a long ways to go to win a big game (see NDSU), but the alternatives are worse. I lost faith in Mollberg even before the injury, and Bartels didn't get it done last year either. Might as well stick with Studs for now but it still doesn't look good in that position.

I feel Roughriders is out because of the GFRR connection, and I'm not changing my position on this, no matter what the argument is against it. Sundogs isn't worth considering either. My first choice had been Northstars but I'm not voting that way because so many others hate the name. So, that leaves Hawks and NoDaks and I'm going with NoDaks as well. It fits us, it's unique and everyone will know who we are when they hear the name. I'm pleasantly happy with my choice.

I have zero interest in leaving the Sky in football, and really I don't see the Summit as being that great either. It gives us a different footprint to recruit in for one thing. The other thing is we have a much better chance of making the playoffs in football in the Sky as opposed to the MVFC. Besides, I don't see the MVFC offering us an invite any time soon

But you have to assume the teams we are playing are also getting better every week.

I'm thinking 2 more victories this year if we are lucky. We should beat UNC, unless Bubba pulls a Muss and blows the finish, and UC Davis, assuming they are as bad as everyone says they are. I really had high hopes for this year, figured we'd give NDSU a run in this game. How bad are the teams from Drake and Wyoming if we beat them?

I had very early said 8-3 and then revised it to 7-4 and had WY figured as a loss. I'm still sticking with 7-4 with loses to NDSU, Montana, Montana State, and Cal Poly.
