I don't know where you got your math lesson from but you are WRONG. Tuition is $7965 per year, which figures to $39.82 per year, times 5 years amounts to $199.10. I'm guessing you included room and board, which isn't part of tuition. I'm quite disappointed that tuition is going up at all. I don't see how these kids can keep borrowing to pay for school. It gets pricey when you have to pay it back. I suppose you could argue that you are quoting Non resident tuition, and yes MN is higher too, but they don't pay $20,000 a year either http://und.edu/admissions/undergraduate/costs-and-aid/

Given our financial position right now there is no way we are moving up to FBS. I'm just glad steps are being taken to hang on to what we can and no way can we afford to expand any programs.

I see NDSU just gave Kliman a 6 year contract and a pay raise. We are very, very lucky to have Bubba working for the salary he has. IIRC Bubba is getting around $190,000 and is an absolute steal for that kind of money. I think a fair question is though, with money this tight, what happens when the time comes for Bubba to get a well deserved pay increase? Once we start making the playoffs you can bet someone will come knocking with a better offer and while he probably loves it here, money talks. Sure hate to lose the guy because we aren't paying near the top of the FCS, but don't see how we can pay more either with the money strain right now.

I'm trying to figure out how Grady can be eligible since he wasn't on campus for spring semester. I get it that he completed and passed all his classes from fall semester but how can anyone drop out like that and come back. It's good if it works, except that he missed spring ball, but I can't wrap my head around this being OK with the NCAA.

I see we are eliminating baseball and men's golf. I know money is tight but I sure hate to cut sports. What's next on the chopping block? I feel this leaves UND with a bad image and we should find other ways to tighten the belt.

It just seems like we've had more than our fair share of departures is what I was getting at, while conceding that all programs lose players. What is frustrating is it seems we are losing too many good young players whereas other programs often lose margin players or ones that get buried in the dept chart. Getting buried on the chart hasn't been a huge problem for us, and that's another reason I question if we are going after the best players? More or less thinking out loud on some of this stuff, I do think we've improved in a lot of areas in the last two years and just have to keep plugging away.

It's just going to have to be next man up. Every program has defections and we have to deal with it, even if it puts a big hole in a few places. Hopefully we don't lose any more and we don't have any more off field incidents. Whenever we lose a player it does make a guy wonder if we are really recruiting the right people?

This is where we are lacking and where the Bison are stomping us. It's those TV games that are killing us in the exposure dept. We need to find some way to get on TV ever week during football season.

The greatest blasphemy is associating my name with this thread. I never once implied that Wentz was comparable to Christ and feel it is in horrible taste to have me listed as the starter of this thread with the comparison of Carson Wentz to Christ. I am therefore demanding my name be removed as the starter of these moved posts and really, the comparison to Jesus is in bad taste, especially on Easter.

I sincerely believe that the minimum we should expect or accept is 8 regular season wins and at least 1 playoff win. We need to make strides every year.

It just seems like hockey is a non-event to ESPN now days. The worst is that there isn't much that can be done to bump it up either.
