the football player on the committee is a chemical engineering student who already completed his undergrad degree with a high GPA and is working on his masters. Questioning his intelligence won't get you very far. Karl Goering was also on the committee. Should we question his intelligence too?

A little frustration from my son on this account. He was at all of the games and checked in to all but they somehow missed him for the $1500 drawing. He wasn't aware that they were calling all of the people who were in the drawing because they didn't announce the process. He didn't know he was missed until they called the people onto the field for the drawing. He went into the Nodak Nation office today and they told him they know he was there for all of the games because they recognized him. They said their scanner must not have worked for his card at homecoming and were sorry but obviously it's too late now. On homecoming he went down and hung up the Sack City sign and then went up and had his card scanned after the first offensive series. There were only about 15 people in the drawing so his chances really would have been pretty good. I know not many kids go to the games but they don't follow through for the ones that do.

I don't know anything about what happened to Olivera.. but I blew my ACL many years ago and was told that the hope was that I dislocated my patella instead. The trainer said that if that happened it could relieve the pressure on the ACL and maybe it wouldn't go too. They told me a patella dislocation was better than blowing your ACL. That was 20 years ago so maybe things have changed.

hopefully we will be able to start redshirting all freshmen again so they would be 2 years behind those guys.

Not saying that but if Taubenheim was arguing about it he knows he made it and that was proven correct by the game pics.

If Taubenheim says he made the kick I believe him. He would know. He has kicked thousands of footballs in practice and in games and it is easy to know if you made it or not after watching so many kicks.

I voted Nodaks and think we can turn it from derogatory to positive if we embrace it. Very much like Wisconsin people did with the Cheesehead name. It used to be very derogatory but now I wish I had invented the cheese wedge hat.

100% agree. If he made it he made it. Nobody says we should have gotten that fumble out earlier so ref couldn't screw that up. Thankfully there was replay on that one.

Gophers were inept at end of game. Down 3 with 19 seconds left and a time out left. 1st and goal at 1/2 yd line. After 1st play - 2 seconds left. Failed on sneak on last play.

My understanding is that we don't have a true qb coach. Is that true? It would seem like a critical coaching position to me.
