It was a lot of fun. Maybe MSU hadn't run any of those trick plays this year but if they had we should have been at least a little prepared. The throw back to the QB was a bad toss or they would have scored there too.

Gophers were inept at end of game. Down 3 with 19 seconds left and a time out left. 1st and goal at 1/2 yd line. After 1st play - 2 seconds left. Failed on sneak on last play.

My understanding is that we don't have a true qb coach. Is that true? It would seem like a critical coaching position to me.

It is really hard to believe that anybody is trying to rig the vote by adding a third choice. I'm sure the conversation was: there is no statistical difference between 2 and 3 so let's include both. Not - I bet we can swing the final vote to __________ if we include three options. I guess this kills the talk that the fix was in for North Stars.

I'm with you on this one. People looking for a conspiracy where nothing exists, especially when adding Nodaks gives their choice (and mine) a chance.

I don't think they are mad at him either. I said they must be mad at him as a back door way to say that there is no reason he shouldn't be given a shot. I have heard great things about him as a person and have watched him on the sidelines this year. He has been very into the games and appears genuinely exited for the team when the other QBs have done good things.

We knew games like this would happen. We are pretty thin in many spots. Which is why we needed to hang on the last two weeks and get wins when we had the chance. Even with a blowout like this 6-2 would look pretty good for recruiting and attitude for the rest of the year.

If Mollberg isn't hurt - As a coaching staff they must be really mad at him that he can't see the field in a blowout like this. He was the starting QB a year ago at this time when he got hurt and was playing well when he went down.

I really don't like NDSU football but I find it hard to talk much smack considering their recent success. They might be down a little this year compared to the last few but that was a pretty high bar. I will definitely be ready to jump on when we catch up and pass them, and I believe we will, but can't do it now just because they have 2 losses this year.

IIRC it was 1st and 10 and we were trying to run clock. I know we need to mix it up but it sure would have been better to run the ball and keep the clock moving.

and here we go again. someone says something negative about hockey playing a supposed DII Bemidji State hockey and you belittle the UND (our) football team in the process . you say that you support the football team but to make your point you run them down again. The original post made no sense, by the way, since BSU was in the Frozen Four a few years ago.

You are lucky or run with a good crowd if you don't know any hockey only Sioux fans. There is a guy I used to work with who was at UND at the same time I was and is a big hockey fan. He loves to tell me every so often that he never went to a fb game when he was at UND and he knows I played fb for the Sioux. Finally I called him out on it and asked if he was just trying to be an a-hole or what was his point. He has stopped now. I follow all our teams from TC. See 4-5 fb and about the same hockey games in person each year. See a couple of men's and women's bb and a women's hockey game also. Rest I watch or listen to on TV or on line when possible. Last night watched hockey on line and listened to fb. I do know a number of hockey only people but no fb only. I was in philly for most painful frozen four finish ever. Lots of fb alums there supporting hockey team including Ira. Never heard anyone say r post they were giving up on hockey team after that tough loss.

Our student group is Nodak Nation. That came about long before Nodaks was a potential nickname because it makes sense and the school has some history of using it. Seems like a natural fit to me.

Two really tough losses in a row and I am irritated but am not giving up on the team or the program.
