  1. Has anybody seen if Eric is finishing the season with Washington or if he's moved to SDSU already?
  2. Same here. Not sure of the attraction of Austin
  3. I think this every time it is said that we don't recruit the right athletes/body types for DE and OLB. I think we do recruit them, we just haven't been able to land them.
  4. that would be a beautiful thing.
  5. Then please start a ‘Fire Everyone after 2024’ topic and stop soiling this one.
  6. I wish the voices would give it a rest so we could spend time talking about recruiting and/or 2024 season rather than how the staff should be fired.
  7. Who is satisfied with that? Everyone on here aspires for the team to be playing in December and possibly January. Most of us just don't feel the need to repeat that multiple times each day.
  8. Agree on the never count them out part. I heard (on UND360 I believe) that they lost 30 from last year to this year. 11 graduated and 19 transfers. That's a big turnover and they went 2 OT for a chance to make the finals again.
  9. when the UT is pressing down 20 with under a minute left everything is fair game
  10. Just watched to end of the game. Both 2 point conversion play calls were shaky at best.
  11. Hindsight Hawks are still undefeated.
  12. I agree. Good for him. I’ll just be happy when this whole Covid year thing is done. Sam’s had 4 seasons of college football and is just finishing at a JC as a sophomore. He’s not alone in that. Autman-Bell just finished his 7th season at UM.
  13. Old data from 19-20 and 20-21 from Football Scoop in a Transfer Portal article. I have seen numbers like 40% in the past. "And only 36 percent of FCS transfers find a Division I school willing to take them, period." I looked up Sam Robertson who left UND via the portal for Northern Illinois. I don't think he saw the field for NIU and played at Iowa Western this year. Not sure if he's committed somewhere else yet.
  14. Agree. Kids should get free transfer if HC leaves.
  15. The schools that they are currently playing for and that have invested a lot of time and effort into them. Like the FCS and FBS schools that can’t compete with the big NIL war chest schools and are getting their players poached. I'm not against transferring but if it’s worth it to you you’ll be willing to sit a year.
  16. An easy improvement would be to go back to requiring sitting out a year when transferring. That would cut down on a lot of the transfers for NIL money. I haven’t kept up enough to know if that was changed to meet a law or if it was ncaa whim.
  17. Here is a pic of the top 7 NIL earners in NCAA from ON3.com. You can sort the numbers a bunch of ways on that web site. The numbers are staggering. Here is link sorted for football. https://www.on3.com/nil/rankings/player/college/football/
  18. At this time schools are limited in what they can do regarding NIL but the NCAA is looking to change that. I've seen this a couple of places: Current NCAA rules prohibit anyone in an athletic department from representing athletes in marketing deals, directly or indirectly, but schools are allowed to provide their athletes with education and some tools for connecting with boosters and business who might want to sign them to an NIL deal.
  19. I was on the team at St John’s for 1 year. The guys they wanted got most of their school paid for. needless to say I was footing the whole bill myself.
  20. It is non scholarship. I was thinking of an FCS team close to his home. St Thomas has MBA program. That’s where I got mine from.
  21. I'm guessing St. Thomas as it's close to home for him.
  22. Talked to his dad at tailgating and he told me he needs surgery.
