I was told that Wagner was the FCS school that they were in discussions with, as some here have speculated.

I remember. That was such a fun team and I'll always have fond memories of them. But that was also the team that blew a 20-point lead to Virginia Union, so I think the whole comparison to this year's NDSU team is a bit of a stretch.

Go to Google Trends and you'll notice a hockey stick effect on searches for NDSU since....you guessed it, March 10th when Woodside hit the jumper.
