So are you wanting to say that as UND fans we shouldn't be happy about a 7-4 record, a FBC win and wins over 2 ranked opponents the end of a 2 year rebuilding program? Nope not feeling that way at all ...sorry. Perhaps you should go ask the Jackrabbit fans how they are feeling about their season since they lost to a Big Sky school?

So the Junior Athletic Directors are pretty quiet. I'm not saying that beating Bradley was a great accomplishment - it was a nice road win and we saw some new faces step up and show their talent. According to the play-by-play we got hosed in several key calls, had some really stupid plays by young players and still pulled it out - not sure how you blame the coach for a player getting a technical or a guy jumping in the lane too early on a cruicial free throw but some will find a way. I will stand on my soapbox again and say that the "Fire the Coach" threads do nothing to support or improve the program. But as gets shared here quite often - it's a free country, I don't have to read here, I'm accepting mediocrity so as the old Budweiser commercials used to say "Carry on Junior Athletic Directors, you are the ones that sit in your armchair, never played the game yet have the unique skills to know what every coach should have done after the fact..this Bud's for you!"

I did hear a few years ago, when the process was just getting started, that a Poindexter sitting around one of the committee tables suggested sending a letter to all area businesses asking them to take down their Fighting Sioux memorabilia. The person who shared this with me said they just looked at the person and shook their head. I guess I wouldn't put it past our new diversity VP to do the same thing (at least within the University and/or its major vendors).

Yes but he fits in quite well with the older generation, ie: big check writers. He'll stay as long as he wants to be there, especially with a new president coming on board next year.

I know you spend a lot of time here but perhaps you forgot this is a site for UND fans to share thoughts. We are allowed to be optimistic about our team. We don't need reality checks from trolls. There are plenty of threads about UND over at Bison-swille where you can question everything that is posted here.

I was being facetious. Lighten up. However it was one of the "demands" given the day of the "walk for tolerance" or whatever it was called. Something like "removal of all Fighting Sioux icons from campus and a ban on Fighting Sioux clothing on campus". I don't buy it, I don't believe it could happen but it was demanded with the repercussions being they would create a nation-wide campaign to discourage Native Americans from attending UND. It's been more than six months since the Walk so I'm guessing they must be hunkered down in the Native American Cultural Center planning on how they are going to pull this off.

Until the day Bridges get UND to turn us away at the door.

To some every UND coach that loses two games in a row should be on the hot seat. Brewster will probably leave for a higher level job way before his seat even gets warm.

They know that this will all blow over in a week and that they can just make the schools that got shafted look like cry babies. It will be business as usual for the National Corrupt Athletic Association until the next time around and they do it again. But I guarantee UND was the whipping boy and it will be a long time, if ever, that a 6-5 team gets in over a 7-4 team. They know they can pull this stuff on the small schools and get away with it.

I would love to see a flow chart that follows all of the logic being given out by committee members - it would show the inconsistencies of what they are saying they used for their criteria and the chart would eventually end at UND.

Something new this year - my two favorite teams are Dayton and anyone playing NDSU.
