  1. Montana apologists: just shows how tough the Big Sky is from top to bottom.
  2. My bad - I meant their rule is "after 24 hours they move on".
  3. The coaches and team always talk about the 24 hour rule - after 24 hours they move on (edited). They have moved on. Some here never will.
  4. Tickets booked, they are going fast. Love being back in the MVFC and having doable road trips.
  5. 24 hours - the team has moved on we should too. Barring an epic upset we will be 2-2 many on here can save time and just cut and paste their current postings. I enjoy the game, I support UND, I am looking forward to a fun season and making numerous road trips, because it's a game played by student athletes that chose to attend UND.
  6. It was a typo (we are not where we want to be(.
  7. So last week when Montana State lost to SDSU the case was made that because they were a lower rank they should not go down in the polls. I'll bet a lot of money that the analogy will never be written in any of the FCS podcasts/Twitter/websites about UND losing to Boise.
  8. We all know the number of FCS teams that could go into Boise and win are around two. And we all agree that right now UND is not (typo edited,) where they or us want them to be. Dang I hope this thread follows the UND Football 24 rule - which means 24 hours after every game we MOVE ON.
  9. I wonder if other teams have fans during the season suggest that their best players might leave early?
  10. Have to admit in the past few years UND has stepped up their support of football on the road. Seems like there is more online video programming this year also?
  11. The chairman of the FCS Selection Committee said in a podcast last year that losing to an FBS team does not affect your selection possibility, winning would help of course. Then again there is the "Montana Clause" which means if you are Montana nothing else matter.
  12. I am all in on the helmet and tunnel camera, someone must have thought it was an issue.
  13. Picking up a flag and running out to the field is about as mild as it gets.
  14. All Bubba talks about is focus and being prepared, there is no way they would agree to anything this elaborate. Heck, they got rid of the inflated helmet and the tunnel walk. It's not going to happen in this era.
  15. Sad that every thread becomes a defending Tommy because of a few uneducated. Tommy does so much that goes unnoticed. Examples -there are numerous snaps that are low, wide, high that he just naturally adjusts to and no one notices, swing passes are automatic (wasn't that long ago they weren't), he's hitting at 70%. He could have been playing for Ferris State (which won the last two DII championships). Losing our #1 QB recruit at the last minute, during COVID, we were very fortunate to get him and it was without an onsite visit.
  16. Went to the UND ticket office online and found several in the Visitors Section starting at $27 (plus the usual TM fees). Road Trip!
  17. Historically related to topic: Archie Fool Bear (67), Cannon Ball, ND passed away Thursday September 7. If you know, you know.
  18. Broken record here but it still comes down to OL and DL. Both of those teams looked rock solid and big, not saying we can't "any given Sunday" them and we are moving in the right direction.
  19. I have to think the removal of the inflated helmet and no more tunnel camera was a call made by someone with the team or administration. I can live without the big helmet but the tunnel walk really gets the crowd (and I would think the team) going.
  20. Correct I was there.
  21. There were several Norwegian names offered, but a consulting company from the East Coast could not see the connection. Berserkers was my favorite.
  22. Not a bad review but nothing in there proves they were actually onsite vs just finding info on the Internet and rewriting it.
  23. Not sure of your point - of course it happens, are you hoping this happens again
  24. It happens - your point?
  25. This fan has this perspective We beat NA on their home field The Drake QB was running for his life all game, the only reason we didn't get a sack is he was never in the pocket and threw the ball away. Drake was supposed to be a walk - mission accomplished. We had 10 different players catch a pass, we had a 100 yard rusher. We had three running backs rip off long runs. We had 31 players see the field. Comparative scores are useless, different day, different game. Special teams won us at least one game last year, if not more. Three aspects to every game - offense, defense, special teams - win two of them and you most likely win the game. I see us winning offense and special teams at least. We win by at least two scores. Go Hawks!
