As has been suggested UND should be combing the US looking for student athletes that have an interest in aviation, business, PT, medical fields. And maybe they are because if I can think of that I believe they already have.

I'm not a high roller and I don't play golf, but I'm going to the social Sunday at Prior Lake. I have no doubt it will be a great event, I will feel welcomed and come home feeling confident about what's happening at UND.

Loved how insightful he was as a color guy on the radio. It was like he was coaching over the air waves.

That's why I prefer science.

Facts that contradict fallacies are so hard for some.

Just wait until ND lawmakers figure out how much money they are losing as their citizens cross the border for cannibas.

I believe this is a trend at just about every football school in the country with a few exceptions.
-
Big step - they are ripping the band aid off. I have no issue with this as the students on campus now have only known the Fighting Hawk as their official nickname and all teams have embraced it except for hockey.
-
But they "bring so much to the conversations".

In my experience Tim Belmore is very approachable.

A successful business owner in the town near me gave six figures to Team Makers to finish their football practice facility. He did not play for them, just went there. The money flows to UND just not to football.

We blocked a punt for a td and the win in Youngstown. They definitely got screwed out of the playoffs. They would have beat Montana.

Suggestion - mark your calendar and get to the Summit Basketball tournament, it's a great place to meet up with other fans and connect with player's families. Lots of great games and UND hosts a very nice social room before every game. Anyone who was there would have realized that this was true - all the hand wringing posts about players leaving have no purpose.

Individuals can host a Watch Party and register it through UND Alumni Association. UND will send an email out to all Alums in a 100 miles radius (not totally sure of mileage radius), they will also send a box of UND table decorations and trinkets for door prizes.

The bar can never get lower.

I think we will see plenty of Ziebarth this year. We need depth and to keep our backs fresh.

Preface - we can/will get better and continue to move up but sometimes comparison robs us of what we have. We quickly became a top tier team in the MVFC, yes it sucks that the two best teams in the country are in front of us, but we are moving in the right direction - not fast enough for some granted. We are #26 out of 130 teams in home attendance. I have gone on several football road trips and our tailgating compares just fine and is better than many. In all of these situations we can get better but it's not like we are bottom dwellers.

Women have talent moving up from the bench.

Those guys are the ones that the portal is made for. Did not see the field last year, probably had his meeting with coach and mutually agreed he should look for something that is a better fit.

Did they learn nothing from the Missouri State debacle?

Based on last year, you could make that 99%. FCS Nation justified keeping UND out of the top 20 at the end of last year because they did not beat SDSU or ndsu - my response was no one else did either.

No blue sky thoughts here until I hear from the real talent evaluation experts on this site.

Chavez said most charitable gaming in the area is already locked down.

They use UND sponsored travel, and multiple Alumni gatherings around the country often hosted by UND alumni. - Thought: I would guess the average age on these trips is in the late 70s (but then again that's where the money is). The also have an annual UND Mn Twins game and an annual UND Mn Wild game. Thought: I went twice, was not engaged at either by anyone from UND, and yes I tried to be very approachable. Did not seem worth the effort. As far as the Champions Club I dropped my membership a few years ago. After being a member for several years the CC could not find me in their system, it was so frustrating, never got a call or a note about reupping. So I just let it go. Was planning to reup this year at the pre-game event in Fargo before the SU game, the info said it went until 2:00 I believe, I showed up at 1:30 and the place was cleared out. I walked around and not one person engaged with me. Once again I rethought the value of the Champions Club. They did provide a very good experience at the Summit Basketball Tournament. Just seems like they just don't quite have it figured out like the school to the south. I do plan to join again in the fall.

Champions Club management is the elephant in the room.
