Has it ever been discussed that perhaps the coaching staff hasnt wanted Tommy to run? It seems obvious that running has beem his third option - appears that may change this year. As far as working with two QBs, I'm willing to give it a shot, if that is what the coaching staff sees. The old sage about "if you have 2 QBs..." is from a bygone era.

What was the name of the QB a few years ago who backed out and went to a Texas school and then disappeared? He would have probably done all right at UND and gotten a solid education paid for.

This! Doesn't help when the FCS podcast is filled with UND haters. I know Herder makes a joke and money off of the issue that every team thinks he hates them, but look no further than their mention of UND on their FCS preview podcast - UND was ranked in their top 40 and got 5 seconds of mention and it was all insults.

A majority of the growth will need to come from new fans who live within a couple hours of Grand Forks. Low-hanging fruit would be getting some of the hockey fans to attend, but then that comes down to being able to afford both hockey and football (and basketall) and that many of hockey spectators just aren't into sports.

Looking back at the Utah State game the offense was pretty wide open. We got burned by their speed and depth in the second half.

Just a couple of guys with microphones and a spare room. They really showed their bias and lack of class. As a top 40 team we deserved more than two stupid snide remarks. Yah I get that respect is earned but they talked for 45 minutes on teams ranked 50-130.

Seems like every year when UND beats someone ranked, rather than giving UND credit for beating a ranked team, the narrative becomes that team was overrated.

Ouch - asking about snow in October? Not a good reflection on your ability to do research on the Internet. A few tips since you are coming from Mizzou - bring your own moonshine and bring a pair of shoes and a shirt because they are required in a restaurant - okay maybe a bit harsh. Actually early October will be fine, come early and walk around the tailgating area you'll be welcomed.

It's fine, it could be better - thought there were many on here that are constantly saying if you are happy with what we have you are settling.

Tailgating issues won't get fixed if they hire an intern every year who is starting over. Not saying it can be a stand alone position but this demonstrates how little interest there is at UND in making tailgating bigger and better than it is.
