What they were recruiting was depth, it's a tough position and ankles, shoulders are gonna take a beating.
-
Agreed, Z brings a strong pedigree and has been waiting his turn. It's okay for fans to be excited IMO.
-
Check his background he was top tier running back in Minnesota. He's only a sophomore and has lots of upside. Our backfield is looking good for the future.
-
Gotta think it might be a staffing issue? Who does the in house production team report to - the Alerus, UND? The team stats on the big screen is a huge miss.
-
Some on here love to drag up trick plays that didn't work (even if it happened more than five years ago) and forget the ones that did. Yes, they are complicated plays where everything needs to go right and it is quite possible that play does not work against a higher level opponent but it makes them think about it and spend some time on the possibility. Love the call, the game should be fun for the players too.

We had four possessions and scored on two of them.

SU bus on the way to Minneapolis blew a tire.
-
Game logistics always makes you go huh. No game stats on the scoreboard, sound person plays music full blast while the referee is talking, broken water faucets. It's the little things that make the game atmosphere. Kinda bush league.

The wheels are officially coming off the bison football team bus. Actual video on I-94. 11255.3gp

Missing entirely - highly unlikely, It would be nice to at least see them on the road earlier in the playoffs.
-
Oops, I will correct.

As a tailgater it's pretty easy to notice visiting fans. SU was noticeable (plus many were noticeable by the chips on their shoulders, SDSU and USD were a blip).
-
Every school has empty seats even the one to the south, SDSU might be the exception this year.
-
Based on previous years it's not this coaching teams style to pull starters early - not like we've had too many blow-outs, I seem to remember Bo getting hurt a couple years ago during mop-up time.
-
(Edited) 10-2 or 9-3. Bigger, more mature O and D lines and Touchdown Tommy in his final year.
-
This is huge - he brought a lot of experience in recruiting and player relationships to the team - gotta say it reflects well on the administration to give a person another chance, but the situation hasn't changed at UND since he left (in that the head coach is younger than him and thus there really isn't an opportunity to move up at UND).
-
I understand you have an agenda, but think I just read a story in the GF Herald that tickets sales have gone up consistently since UND returned to the MVFC.
-
Actually I have memories of Tommy having to juke, jive, duck and scramble to keep plays alive. Fortunately he is very good at that as this shows.
-
Your well thought out insights take on a whole new perspective to me now that I've seen behind the curtain. Be well see you at tailgating.
-
My over/under on the number of games I will get to this year is 9. Always enjoyable to have an adult beverage (Grain Belt if possible) with some of the parents of the players.
-
Just my humble opinion: they cannot rush hirings just to fill spots, losing assistant coaches shows that UND is a building ground for coaching careers,
-
So is NIL vs Alston the next dick measuring game?
-
Depth - that's what su has had on their OL/DL over the years, it won't be long until our OL/DL is where we need it to be.
-
I talked with an incoming UND student who is a family friend. She said in their orientation hockey was all the guide talked about for sports. The problem is inbred.

As we know and most have shared "It all comes down to the O line and D line". Our line coach seems to be the real deal and our recruiting in that area has been impressive. If we can match up with their lines we can beat them.
