  1. After seeing this "Siouxper Drunk" issue hit the news, I am inclined to think it's time for a new nickname. Whatever it is, let's make it a good one and put the historic Sioux name behind us.
  2. In this one editorial piece he never did. But, bringing up the discussion of dropping down seems to be Bobby's agenda. http://www.laramiebo...ad256342987.txt To even bring up the discussion of dropping down reeks of stupidity.
  3. I agree. That just lends ammo to those who want to solidify the ant-nickname issue. If that even matters anymore...
  4. That's an editorial from someone working at the Boomerang in Laramie. He has a major woody trying to get UW to drop to FCS. Sorry, Bobby boy..but UW didn't pay Bohl 1.5 mil so they could drop down. Only retarded common criminals that went to the University of Agriculture and Applied science and are stuck selling airtime for fourth rate stations in small market would believe that noise...
  5. My main concern with this issue is that it may give the University of Agriculture and Applied Science's football team some new ideas about criminal behavior.
  6. Next time, try the "Otter Defense" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLHFdduVDVg
  7. I have a feeling that the football players from the College of Home Economics at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science will be told not to seek these jobs this time.
  8. In Spanish it would actually be tenedores grandes... you used the singular initially. But, we digress...
  9. That's pretty cool. and go Avalanche!

    Wowsa

What??? She dumped me for HIM!!??!!!??!!
  11. At Colorado State University, they just riot and burn couches. Just because.
  12. Although I hate losing to the Gophers, this team performed extremely well in the NCAA tourney. Kudos to the team and coaching staff for this great effort. I watched some of the game on Thursday, but was busy in Laramie, Wyoming and could only break away from time to time. I successfully defended my master's degree from the University of Wyoming on Friday. Afterwards, walking out of the building to Prexy's Pasture, a young man opened the door for myself and my defense team. He was wearing a University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux t-shirt. I said, "Go Sioux!" and he smiled and nodded. So, to the freakshow from the University of Agriculture and Applied Science, I am a Sioux and a Cowboy. You can bend over and plant a wet one of my sweet a$$. The game on Thursday made me really look forward to next year! Go Sioux! Go Pokes!
  13. Only problem I saw was that we never had a mascot, only a nickname. But, other than that, I think it's just fine.
  14. You got that right. It's time for the North Dakota universities athletic departments to wake up to reality. You want D-I, you pay D-I salaries. Even at that, you will still be a farm team for the big boys of D-I.
  15. I wonder if somebody out east would come in... Somebody with a New England accent... Private school and all.
  16. I think this might be why Bohl left Fargo U: The Great Influence-Off Type in any two schools to see which comes out on top. University of Wyoming is 8.65 times more influential than North Dakota State University SHARE ON UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING 17.3 NOTABLE ALUMNI Dick Cheney Vice President of the United States Douglas W. 17. Although I dispute the "study" you referenced, the return on investment may not always be in terms of money either. Who wants to be stuck in a job they hate just for the $$$? I'd say both schools offer degree programs that satisfy their graduates. Okay, I'll stop being reasonable now...
  18. Thanks, Pathfinder! Keep telling us those great stories! I love hearing about the history of UND hockey. I've only been following them for 36 years or so! I told some kid today about how much I paid for tuition my first semester. He told me that he loved to hear about history! Man, I felt old. You, sir, make me feel young! (I hope you take that the right way.)
  19. I'd love to post those pics to Facebook...the ones of the Gopher/UND game from many years ago...
  20. No doubt! I would, but will be in Laramie. I have a fun story from a few years ago. I was snorkling in Mexico, and came out of the water to the palapa restaurant where my towel and enough pesos for beer were stashed. A couple looked at my interlocking "ND" hat, and rather than say the usual "Notre Dame" comment, the guy asked when I went to school at UND. I told him. He played hockey for UND in the 60's. Damn if I didn't lose his email address and name.... He lives on Victoria Island, Vancouver...
  21. awesome! I'd like to title this picture, "How many Gophers does it take to stop one Fighting Sioux?"
  22. After that, we got nothing... That was awesome! I love the tradition at UND!
  23. Oh, I doubt he's still in school. He's probably busy reporting to NFL clubs after the combines. Or, CFL? Arena football? Serbian Republic League Football?
