I'm off the "Fire Hak" bandwagon for now. Gotta admit, we've had success, but am disappointed in not having a national championship since 2000. However, I love that UND fans EXPECT a national championship every single year. High expectations! Why shouldn't we? After all, we have the best facilities and one of the top programs in all of college hockey. We play and win a the highest level of college hockey. We should expect a championship.

Oddly, my favorite is prune. My family background is a little German, but Scotch and Norwegian for the most part. If we were to use a food name, I'd go with a German dish. Sorry, but lutefisk and haggis just destroys any credibility for Norske and Scotch food for me...

At work, not a lot of time to read or write. But, I would imagine the big talk is Mich Tech ranked #1. I think it's great! Yeah, I want UND to win it all, but to have them #1, whether it be legit or not, makes my heart warm. Seriously. I love it!

As well at UND has started the season, it is kind of interesting that I haven't seen many...if any...cries of "Let's hang #8 on the rafters!" I think we have come to expect to win conference championships without any true expectation of a national title. Maybe that will change this year if the boys keep rolling.

I agree. Last week I would have said I agree 100% and thought they would roll everyone on the way to #4 in a row. Now, I agree about 80%. However, the UND tolerance level is getting lower and lower. We expect to be at the same level as FU. That's a lot to ask, but that is what we expect.

Looking at the Missoula Valley FC schedule UNI, gave the two teams on top, The University of Home Economics and Illinois State, the only losses they have suffered. Yet, the Home Ec school and Illinois State won't face each other in the regular season. That could make it interesting come playoff time.

It's time. Let's get a new nickname and be done with it. This is getting old.

The real problem is when third class felons that live in Minnesota come and work in Fargo. That is bound to raise the crime rate!

FU would be wise to get into the Sun Belt and FBS. Expand or build a new stadium. Fargo/Moorhead could support an FBS team. No, they aren't going to get into any P-5 conference as long as the sun shines on the Earth...

UND's victory over Holy Cross has to be on that list. Any game played at the Ralph that gets us into the Frozen Four...

If UND keeps improving, especially on the offensive side, you never know what might happen. I'm feeling more positive about a much closer game.

I'll back you on this. You've always said UND is the rival. Also, I figured out that the young men in trouble can easily get that two page paper written. As always, they'll just hire a UND student to do it for them...
