  1. Gonella was one of the 3 yesterday. He just officially tweeted it today. They had a Rfr enter today to make it the 4th one. A DB named Pascoe. I don’t think he had played at all or possibly some special teams.
  2. The timing is if these kids want to keep playing CFB, opening their recruitment before signing day in December makes sense. These kids need to have open scholarship money to land somewhere. These kids are not like Jabril Cox that can pick their school and a school will create a scholarship for them. If they don’t get their name out there now they may end up without a home for next year.
  3. other than their season has lasted 6 weeks longer than 90% of the other FCS schools for the entirety of the kids careers you may be right. And they all talk about how tough and demanding Kramer can be. Most kids can take it and really like Kramer. There are some that feel it is too much.
  4. It is a very demanding program. Kramer in particular is very demanding and with them playing into January most years, there is very little time for an off season. They get 2 weeks off after the title game and are right back at it. It is not for everybody. There is supposed to be a 4th leaving too. We will see who that is. Of the 3 so far, the only real loss is Sigle. He is a very good CB. There are others on the roster that can replace the other 2 without missing anything.
  5. For some reason Miller gets no credit for being a good QB. He is efficient as a runner and has a strong arm and throws a good ball. Maybe even a better runner and a stronger arm than Tommy. And btw. Nobody is talking about the sure pick-6 Tommy threw to a Bison LB that was dropped. The game could have gotten even uglier if that wasn’t dropped.
  6. And if any of those plays happen and UND gets a little closer, NDSU probably doesn't completely close their playbook and doesn't run it up the middle every play with a 3 score lead. NDSU could have scored 60 if they needed to today. The only time they were stopped was when UND completely sold out on the run and NDSU still ran it up the middle just to burn clock.
  7. Have no idea of NDSU’s interest in this kid or what kind of a player he may turn out to be, but schools invite 5-10 times the number of kids (or more) that they can actually offer.
  8. Cam will break their streak of drafted QB’s and does make some bad throws, but he doesn’t suck. He won a National title. I would take him over Tippy Toes Tommy. And Entz isn’t my favorite but he is better than Bubba.
  9. Not downplaying UND’s effort at all. They played well for 3 quarters. Just pointing out when posters are saying NDSU isn’t good enough to get P5 games on the schedule I was just pointing out that the opposite is actually true. UND better be careful if they want to keep getting those $500k paydays. You win a couple of these and they go away fast.
  10. Not sure how you rank UNI after last week, FBS opponent or not. That was a pathetic performance.
  11. So NDSU can’t schedule P5 schools and UND can? I wonder why? Cheaper to bring in UND? No. It would be a better win to beat UND instead of a win vs NDSU? No. UND would bring more fans to the game? No. The gate would be bigger because we could charge more for a ticket vs UND rather than NDSU? No, actually the reverse. UND is a guaranteed win and NDSU very well could be a loss? Bingo.
  12. The indoor facility they built is not a football only facility. The baseball, softball and golf teams will also use it. The Basketball teams were taken care of with the SHAC a few years ago. The track teams have a new indoor facility. They upgraded their softball stadium 2 years ago. You must not be paying attention...
  13. I assume you are smart enough to know why they will never play NDSU but UND has no trouble scheduling them? It is not a compliment to UND.
  14. Nebraska may have better athletes than the top MVFC team, but that doesn’t mean they are a better football team than the top MVFC team. There is a difference.
  15. Why wouldn’t he qualify. He could have played at SIU if they had let him. I don’t think the NCAA suspended him.
  16. Why would you? If somebody is willing to pay you $11,500 per week to practice playing football take the money.
  17. I think that is correct. NDSU does not take into account the COVID year when they list eligibility. Both Millers that are starting, Cam and Mason, are Soph’s eligibility wise but are listed as juniors on the depth chart. Some schools do it differently.
  18. Not sure if you can call it professional football when the average player is making less than you or me.
  19. It looks like Toivonen was waived today. Saw some Giants reporter say he may be PS candidate.
  20. I wasn’t knocking him for getting hurt. Just pointing out the irony that the poster seems to think no NDSU player is good to garner an NFL roster spot while there are 16 currently on one and there is exactly 1 F’N Hawk on a roster.
  21. He got tired of looking at tapes of Cowboys practice to see if he could find Mr. Waletko on the sidelines and the CFL must not have been playing last weekend…
  22. They sure do, they have to decide what to do with hundreds of millions of dollars…
  23. KVLY, actually KXJB, but who is counting, rarely had a chance to show Eagles games. Most were in KVRR and they did show all they could when it didn’t interfere with Vikings games. You will get real annoyed when most 3:00 games this year in the FM area will be 49ers games…
  24. Not all from Forum Communications. They actually get some money from the radio contract too.
  25. Viverito has said in the past schools like NDSU with lucrative media contracts are exempt from having to allow a MVFC game of the week at home. NDSU's media contract will not allow a game in the Fargodome to be the MVFC game of the week.
