Have no idea of NDSU’s interest in this kid or what kind of a player he may turn out to be, but schools invite 5-10 times the number of kids (or more) that they can actually offer.
-
Cam will break their streak of drafted QB’s and does make some bad throws, but he doesn’t suck. He won a National title. I would take him over Tippy Toes Tommy. And Entz isn’t my favorite but he is better than Bubba.

Not downplaying UND’s effort at all. They played well for 3 quarters. Just pointing out when posters are saying NDSU isn’t good enough to get P5 games on the schedule I was just pointing out that the opposite is actually true. UND better be careful if they want to keep getting those $500k paydays. You win a couple of these and they go away fast.
-
Not sure how you rank UNI after last week, FBS opponent or not. That was a pathetic performance.
-
So NDSU can’t schedule P5 schools and UND can? I wonder why? Cheaper to bring in UND? No. It would be a better win to beat UND instead of a win vs NDSU? No. UND would bring more fans to the game? No. The gate would be bigger because we could charge more for a ticket vs UND rather than NDSU? No, actually the reverse. UND is a guaranteed win and NDSU very well could be a loss? Bingo.

The indoor facility they built is not a football only facility. The baseball, softball and golf teams will also use it. The Basketball teams were taken care of with the SHAC a few years ago. The track teams have a new indoor facility. They upgraded their softball stadium 2 years ago. You must not be paying attention...
-
I assume you are smart enough to know why they will never play NDSU but UND has no trouble scheduling them? It is not a compliment to UND.

Nebraska may have better athletes than the top MVFC team, but that doesn’t mean they are a better football team than the top MVFC team. There is a difference.
-
Why wouldn’t he qualify. He could have played at SIU if they had let him. I don’t think the NCAA suspended him.
-
Why would you? If somebody is willing to pay you $11,500 per week to practice playing football take the money.
-
I think that is correct. NDSU does not take into account the COVID year when they list eligibility. Both Millers that are starting, Cam and Mason, are Soph’s eligibility wise but are listed as juniors on the depth chart. Some schools do it differently.

Not sure if you can call it professional football when the average player is making less than you or me. -
It looks like Toivonen was waived today. Saw some Giants reporter say he may be PS candidate.

I wasn’t knocking him for getting hurt. Just pointing out the irony that the poster seems to think no NDSU player is good to garner an NFL roster spot while there are 16 currently on one and there is exactly 1 F’N Hawk on a roster. -

He got tired of looking at tapes of Cowboys practice to see if he could find Mr. Waletko on the sidelines and the CFL must not have been playing last weekend… -

They sure do, they have to decide what to do with hundreds of millions of dollars… -

KVLY, actually KXJB, but who is counting, rarely had a chance to show Eagles games. Most were in KVRR and they did show all they could when it didn’t interfere with Vikings games. You will get real annoyed when most 3:00 games this year in the FM area will be 49ers games… -
Not all from Forum Communications. They actually get some money from the radio contract too.
-
Viverito has said in the past schools like NDSU with lucrative media contracts are exempt from having to allow a MVFC game of the week at home. NDSU's media contract will not allow a game in the Fargodome to be the MVFC game of the week.
-
I believe the Ingstads, who own FM Radio Media, when they started Bison1660 agreed to share advertising revenue from just that portion of their holdings with NDSU athletics. So the more revenue FM Radio Media gets the more NDSU gets. That could have changed with Learfield taking over but I don’t believe it did. One of the advantages to having a big NDSU supporter that owns a large Media company.
-
To some extent they applaud it. When you get to the extent you have to kick someone out of practice it probably crosses the line.
-
But it sounds like he had the same issue at the Senior Bowl, and not just once, many times.
-
You have seen the UNI head coach right? Not at all surprised. Farley is a d*•k…

Not a horrible deal for UND. But I do believe NDSU gets about $2 milllion per year rather than $2 million for 4 years.
