WDAY and MIDCO have an agreement that both schools can broadcast if they want to. MIDCO and WDAY both broadcasted the game in Brookings and the USD game in Fargo last year,

You may have been on the UMD site…

I wasn't saying he was afraid of any competition. He obviously liked U of Wash more than NDSU. I have no problem with that. I was just saying NDSU aren't crying in their beer because he chose U of W. The cupboard isn't bare in the QB room at NDSU.
-
Don’t know if he is better but he is a hell of an athlete and good QB. They won’t be benching a kid that keeps winning it is hard for someone to start 4 years no matter how good you are.
-
Would have been nice to land him but I think he would have sat behind the Payton kid from Omaha for a few years anyway.
-
I know nothing about the kid, but a SD kid that neither SD school offered? I wonder what the issue was? The injury last year?
-
Why did he have no other options? And it isn’t that Bubba this keen sense of finding diamonds in the rough.
-
I am fairly sure Feeney was pretty honest with all college coaches. Bubba and his staff were just more interested in getting the talent and less interested in hearing about the problems.
-
Missouri State should have known better too, even more so than Bubba. But if your argument is “look, even Bobby Petrino did it so Bubba ain’t so bad”, that says a lot.
-
Only every other D1 coach and most D2 coaches in the area… There was a reason the top prospect in the ND and NW MN area had no other offers. It wasn’t because they didn’t think he could play.
-
If all Bubba said was yes he was aware of the accusations or no he wasn’t aware it would open up zero cans of worms for anyone. And if his answer was no he wasn’t aware, it would end any question of his behavior in this situation.
-
Officials have already confirmed there were accusations and an investigation. Bubba and the athletic dept could absolutely acknowledge if and when they knew of the accusations without violating any laws or policies. They just choose not to.
-
Jack likes baseball too much and would never give up Redhawks baseball. Otherwise, yes, he would be gone.
-
Your buddy Schlossy said they would make a decision in the first 2 weeks of June. Maybe the bids are an embarrassment of riches and they are having a hard time deciding.
-
Shocking that nobody was willing to jump through the hoops UND was demanding. BEK, if they are in the picture, would not have the means to do everything or the quality they are asking for. MIDCO would be broadcasting SDSU road FB games long before they would show UND road games. WDAY/WDAZ does NDSU road games already and will not do both. That leaves KVLY.
-
That is correct. Nothing is guaranteed unless you make the team. However, even catching on with the practice squad is good money. Probably in the $150,000 for a full season on squad. Good link below on number of active players and earning per school. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/college/

Since NDSU currently has 15 players on on an NFL contract and UND has 1, this is an idiotic comment. And NDSU had more active players on NFL rosters last season than any FCS school in the country. That being said, I hope all MVFC kids that were drafted or signed UDFA contracts make it.

I hear the Al still hasn’t figured out how to handle large crowds. I saw lots of like for boycotthealerus. Some friends went to the concert, got their in plenty of time and missed the entire opening act and all but 2 songs of the second act. Was told it is not the Alerus’s fault. The Tour decides when doors open. Even if the decide they open an hour before the concert that should be plenty of time to get everyone in.

If Richman stays he stays,

Then don’t say anything at all. The Herald is living by that principle.

You know, if you can’t say anything nice….

UND also could have easily lost to two MVFC bottom feeders at home. If you are playing 7 of 8 conference games that close, you are going to lose your share of them. They finished around a 500 team, probably where they should have.
