Nobody won that game last night. That was an ugly game on both sides outside of Rebraca. And the refs blew calls both way. They call a charge on Krueser and the next time down the court Rebraca does the same thing and it was a no call. Sims got all hand on a block of Cook at the rim in the last couple of minutes and no call but they call Cook for a call on the rebound. If both teams play like that the rest of the season, they will both be in the bottom half of the conference.

If Brewster left the cupboard as bare as the NDSU coach did, she needs to clean house. I am not sure he did though. Collins has just 3 girls left from the previous staff. All of the rest are his recruits. That is cleaning house in just his second year. He was honest in his first singing day press conference when he basically said he didn’t have the kids in the program when the toughness and talent to compete. He definitely was right. Bernhardt may have to do the same. I know that is harder to do when she was part of the previous staff, but I don’t think she has the talent to compete with the SDSU’s or USD’s. Maybe not with NDSU this year either.

Top of the Big Sky is middle of the pack in the Summit in women's basketball. They will need to get much better than their best Big Sky team to compete for a title in the Summit. NDSU waited 10 years to find a coach that can compete. Hopefully for UND you don't have to wait that long.

So sorry for your loss. While I may have questioned some of his theories I always admired his passion for UND athletics. We all could take a lesson from his passion and commitment. I am sure it went beyond UND.

Are there PWO’s in WBB? They have 15 scholarships. I thought everybody on roster was a scholarship athlete.

They may not win it this year but this isn't a normal year. They lost more than 1st round QB and LT. They lost a first round LB (Cox), another starting LB and very likely a starting CB, among possibly 2 more starting OL that may opt op of the spring season.

Zeb will do until the Omaha kid gets to Fargo. He is blowing up this year and will probably get some FBS offers, but I would bet he will stay with his commitment. Zeb has a really strong and accurate arm, just not nearly as athletic as Lance. He has NFL aspirations too.

I think it is an Arkansas State issue not a Central Arkansas issue.

Teams that aren’t playing in the fall can still practice, they just have fewer hours that they can practice compared to teams that have a game in the fall.

He may be the only commit so far with other D1 offers. My guess is they aren’t going to take a chance at pissing him off.

Most are saying top 10. Anywhere from 1st QB to 3rd QB. Most have him higher than Fields.

Daniel Jeremiah Of the NFL Network has graded Lance ahead of Lawrence and Fields. I’m not saying he would be the number 1 pick, but if he would be a top 5 or 10 pick, you can’t really take a chance and wait. That would be financial security for the rest if his life.

Unless they changed the transfer rules for this year he won’t be able to play this year anyway. He has not graduated. He will play the fall games, if they can schedule any, and if the scouts tell him he is a top 10 pick in the draft he will skip spring and prepare for the draft. There is no reason for him to transfer. Scouts like the offense he plays in.

It looks like most of the G5’s are trying for a full conf and non-conf season. Even if the MVFC cancels, I can see NDSU trying to put an FBS schedule together for one year.

Where does it say 2 new FBS leagues form. It shows ten schools that could join current FBS leagues. And you are linking to an article that says NDSU could join the Big 10?

Ivy league and Mankato. He is a smart kid and a very good player. Seen him play a couple of times. Good get for UND.

There is an out for the FBS teams to only pay travel expenses for a situation like this if both teams agree to it. They would not have to pay the guarantee if fans were limited or not allowed.

I don’t think the NDSU/Oregon game has been cancelled yet. The gov of Oregon said attendance would be limited at all events through Sept. could mean no or limited fans. Could still be played. Not predicting it will be, but there is a chance.

What are you talking about. It the Eagles would move on from Wentz, which would be stupid on their part, there are 20 other NFL teams with a much better offensive supporting staff, that would love to make him their starting QB. Plus. if the Packers are moving up to take Jordan Love in the first round, Trey Lance is a lock to be a first round draft pick in a couple of years.

Not much of an FBS stadium if they are replacing that stadium with a smaller one.

I see Hunter came home to North Dakota today. All the best for him. Really good kid. Puts sports in perspective. Would trade all wins/ championships for him to have his mobility back. But I know he will thrive with the hand that was dealt him. The wirkd would be a better place with more Hunter Pinkes in it.

Agree with this. Nelson has gotten the better local athletes over NDSU recently, at least before Collins arrived. Not sure if that will continue but she seems to be able to recognize and develop talent.

High major transfers have to sit a year. Won't help next year.

You are comparing kids that miss out on the NIT or CBI to kids missing out on the Big Dance? I am not saying it is the best plan, but there is NO reason a player that completed their season should get another year. It really sucks for the kids, and seniors in particular, that missed out on the tournament. There probably isn't a good solution and my guess is there will be no relief for Winter season kids, but there should be. And for the conferences that didn't complete their tournaments, the highest remaining seed gets the benefit of the extra year. The regular season does matter.
