  1. Now he's "Pagnoski". You'd think announcers could read the media guide and actually be prepared for a broadcast.
  2. Bonehead move by O'Donnell. That was totally unnecessary.
  3. Less than 3 minutes into the game and I've already heard Greg Ausmus and Austin Pognasty.
  4. NDSU getting a bit of home cooking on the officiating, it seems. You can't call pass interference if it's not a catchable ball to begin with.
  5. Yea, quite a bit goes into it. Plus, in order to keep a trademark you have to actually use it. That's why UND has to continue production Sioux gear with the old logo on it. Otherwise the trademark will expire. At least that's how I understand it.
  6. They didn't even dig my entire garage floor down (only 900 sq ft) when they built my house. They just trench around where the footings are, put in the forms and pour the cement. If the whole 300,00 sq ft was dug down, then the field surface will indeed be below ground level.
  7. Cam's not the 3rd goalie. He's the backup. He's gotta get some experience. If Zane gets hurt, Cam is the only guy left. I'm not saying he should have started tonight, but he needs ice time at some point.
  8. Maybe this would be helpful for some of you guys: http://forum.siouxsports.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=ignoredusers
  9. You all got scooped, then. Brad wrote about this on Friday morning. http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=98828
  10. Easy. Just like the fact that a shootout win doesn't have pairwise implications, they could easily say that if the game is won in the first 5 minutes of OT, then it's a Win. If it's won in the last 5 minutes, then it goes down as a tie and the win is for league standings only
  11. Still working for me, too.
  12. Did I just hear that right? They think the UND/SCSU rivalry is one of the biggest in all of college hockey?
  13. I've had no good correspondence with NCHCtv. First, they didn't extend my subscription, but they didn't cancel it, either. Had I not said anything, I probably would have continued to be able to watch for free. I renewed it and worked just fine. My problem is simply that my first email was lost by them (they admitted it), and they got back to me 10 days later. When I responded to them again and it took four days to hear back. They're customer service is quite awful, actually. Something as large as they are should have true contact form on the website and a phone number. Having "just" an email address is really bush league for a service that is as big as they are. Plus, since so much of their content is going on during the evenings and weekends, they should have people answering emails and handling things during the events.
  14. It's not on DirecTV. You have to watch through BTN2GO. When you click to watch the game it'll ask you to enter your DirecTV login credentials. You can only watch it on BTN2GO if you get BTN with your DirecTV package.
  15. Audio is cutting out a ton. Video is jittery but much less often, so at least during the game play it's not so bad.
  16. Not just turn off the TV, but just quit playing the game. Both teams should be glad that the game is decided now and that they don't have to risk more injuries in the next 50 minutes of play.
  17. I swear, they should just paint the ice blue all the way to the face off dots.
  18. I had some issues right away, but now my only issue is that it seems to be really poor quality. I've got it on my iPad, Airplayed up to my TV. Looks worse than SD quality, but at least no buffering issues.
  19. I never did hear back, but the stream worked for me. Regarding wireless vs. wired, that's been mixed for me. I was able to stream perfectly fine on iPad (obviously wireless), and Airplay it to my Apple TV, which is hardwired. But then with my laptop it wouldn't stream very well on wireless so I had to plug it in, but at that point the laptop was sitting next to my TV so it was ok to be plugged in. Quality wise, I would say it's about 80-90% of the way from SD to HD. Not perfect HD quality, but definitely way better than standard definition. Very watchable, and much better than a couple years ago.
  20. Big hits are no longer allowed in college hockey.
  21. It's strange to see a Hockey East team play so physical. Didn't know they were capable of it.
  22. Are you guys watching on Midco or on the NCHC tv? I wasn't even back from the commercial and you were calling 4-on-4
  23. Well, my NCHC.tv subscription expired on the 19th, so I needed to renew before this game. I tried renewing, but it still says my account expires on Oct 19th, 2014. I have a $1 pending charge on my credit card from NeuLion, so I know they at least tried to do something. I emailed them this morning at 8:30 but still haven't heard anything back. I guess we'll see, at game time, if they actually renewed my account and let me watch the game.
  24. Did the feed freeze for anybody else with 3 seconds left?
  25. I agree. But that's the problem, without standardized equipment NeuLion can't be held responsible for everything. If this recent issue was due to the uplink from CC getting lost or messed up, then NeuLion wouldn't have anything to stream to us. Probably is your end. I've been having HD quality webcast the whole time.
