All hockey got was a simple attiute adjustment & that's mostly from those fans in the Boston area. Well ESPN it's time to face the fact that hockey east is just a couple of steps away from being on life support. As for the WCHA from the words of AL BUNDY "LET's ROCK." SIOUX FAN SINCE 1973

For starters I would like to say that it's great to back online. Second, It's really "AWESOME" to see the "FIGHTIN SIOUX" in the frozen four again. Third I willing to bet that those folks at ESPN are still jumping out the windows because there's nobody from the east. Too bloody bad as for this game between the SIOUX & those sorry Gophers, let's "KICK ICE" & use those gophers for both a mop & broom (please forgive me for my spelling.) Now with all due respect for the CC/Denver game that one is too close to call. So all I can say is "GO SIOUX & LET'S KICK ICE." SIOUX FAN SINCE 1973

Well here's my two cents worth on this discussion. True we had CC's number but we lost by one. Furthermore, they didn't get that number one ranking from sweeping those discussin gophers for nothing. To put it another way the got that ranking the old fashion way they earn it. Now the question is what do we have to do this time & not have a repeat performance? The queston sounds simple but the answer isn't quite that simple to be honest with you. We do have our work cut out for us & if we want to make a move to that the WCHA & advance even further down the road we have to go out there & take CC & everybody else that stands in our way. First, nationwide now world this is as Dickie V would say "AWESOME BABY." Well anyway I still have my Sioux Jersey from the year 2000 the last time they won the frozen four. Furthermore I still ware it every now & then. What really ticks off folks down here in my neck of the woods this being a football state is that they often if not don't have a clue about hockey in general. I know of people from UF (University of Florida) that brag alot but if you were to talk college hockey & UND to them can you say deer in the headlights. All I can say is that it's time to "GET"ER DONE." Then again on the other hand I don't know about everybody else but it sure wouldn't take SCSU for an easy win tonight. All I can say aout this series is that it's going to be one "HELL OF A SERIES." Now if we either sweep Maine or split with them either way it's a good thing. I can't wait to watch it on TV if it's CSTV I hope. Hey I survive another Hurrican (Jeane) I only lost the front proch roof & lost power for a couple of days other than that I was O.K. To be honest with you I hope that it does happen. ESPN showing more college hockey it better than no hockey at all. Some may agree with that comment or disagree with it either way I hope it does happen.

I just hope that they (The NHL) get their act together soon. If not they will never recover from this gaft. I would like to let everybody out there to know that i'm alright from this last storm (Frances) my power was out for a few days but it's better than what some folks have gone through. Let me begin by saying that i'm ok & we dodge a bullet. Second, Charley hit around Ft. Myers for which is about a 3 1/2 hour drive on I-75 south. Third, Charley took a turn towards to the right & that was a good thing because he was suppose to hit Tampa Bay with 14 foot surges around 8 PM friday night. Well good news for us he went another direction. I want to thank everybody for their concerns. In closing I can't wait for hockey season to begin. Thanks again for your concern. For what it's worth the last two indivuals who made post brought up some very excellet points. If the SIOUX do win a national championship in the next couple of years. Then Roger Thomas is a genious (please excuse my spelling.) If not then, it was a smart move. That said, we tend to have that perception of "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY?" If you ask me I think coach is going to be alright & hel's going to do ok. Now as for Ron Zook at the University of Florida. Speaking as a GATOR alum the take down here & it's about a two hour drive to Gainesville from my house. Everybody wants him GONE plain & simple. Then again that's the down side of having a National Search & like & please forgive me skateshattrick it's like comparing apples to oranges & he's right it's like comparing apples to oranges.
