Defense wouldn't have let that happen. For as shaky as our offense was NDSU didn't exactly light the world on fire.

Hate to be that guy, but really have to hang this loss on the coaching staff. The clock management to end the half, the inexplicable fake punt call and not using Smiths elusivness are really perplexing. Defense showed up, but offensive play calling was not to win.
