  1. Nice analyses! From what I understand, KK was playing injured last year. Even more so than this year.
  2. who cares!? Just win!
  3. Early scouting of NAU, I see: They Used 3 young QBs against Arizona . Millner #2 appears to be their primary signal caller and is more dual threat Flores #7 will also run on occasion. SMU drop down RB TJ McDaniel # 1 will be a handful, both as traditional running back and a receiver out of the backfield WR Owen #6 is back for more. Speedy with good hands Used much the same way we use Caden Dennis and Red. #17 freshman DB surprisingly good for such a lanky slight dude. All over the field. Good tackler and will be looking to wedge through to block kicks. Huge NT #90 is quick on the feet for his size. When not bull rushing the middle, he likes to stunt around left side. Defense has a propensity for stupid penalties of the 15 yard variety. 28-20 UND. With a tip of the hat to a loud and proud Potato Bowl crowd.
  4. Reynolds?
  5. Better sharpen those gardening shears. That’s a whole lotta hedging.
  6. I love this and mosly agree. The problem, however, with our fan base, and the pollsters for that matter, is that once WE beat these teams, their stature is diminished in everyone’s eyes. Simply because it was us. The big win eventually becomes just a win. I see the same dynamic playing out in recruiting. Once another team gets someone, that player suddenly becomes a pre-season all american in the eyes of our fan base. When we win a recruiting battle and get a scholarship player, we immediately question what other offers they had, did the other programs back off and pull their offers, are they bringing a lingering injury with them, are they an academic or behavioral hard case, or whether theiy’re even worthy of a DI program. Sometimes we are our own worst critics With friends like us… who needs AC fans?
  7. True. That’s the problem, though, with strong knee jerk reactions. Got to let things play out sometimes and allow for in-game adjustments. Although the sudden resurrections of all the cliff jumpers during game threads is, at least, entertaining.
  8. Nothing. I was giving you a compliment. You’ve had much crappier takes.
  9. This wasn’t even one of your crappier takes.
  10. Lance Rucker looked the part out there as a true freshman.
  11. Tommy Two step!!
  12. Actually up 2.59% Every student counts. UND is +350 student headcount compared to first day last fall. Headcount traditionally grows from first day to Census Day.
  13. Idaho would give AC a bit of a run this year, me thinks.
  14. I'd kinda enjoy watching those two clowns going at it on here. Sadly they never do. Two principled idiots at each other's throats. Pass the popcorn!
  15. This is totally a bit.
  16. But that’s all in your head. It’s not consistently true They all have demonstrated superiority in all those things on occasion. You can’t base how anyone will play against a D1 defense — non scholly or otherwise — on a HUDL tape where your facing a defense of state All Stars or Insta highlights from fall camp that are hand selected to be used for highlight reels. The sample size is just too small. He’s going to be good some day. But his time is not now. In the immortal words of UND-FB-Fan, if his time was now. … I would be concerned.
  17. You should probably go mop the play area before the noon drive-thru rush.
  18. Jerry's not ready yet.
  19. They'll use the 4 strategically unless major injuries occur. He'll be even better after a year of winter weights and spring ball. He also has a cannon for an arm, if ever needed in a pinch or some trick-eration.
  20. That’s what I said. But he’s that good now.
  21. Maybe still getting comfy with the routes/playbook. Maybe a minor injury. Lots of things could be at play here.
  22. From what I saw at fall camp, this 2 deep is about right. Mildly surprised no Kory Tai but not really. Don’t need him. Don’t burn the shirt just yet.
  23. Tommy helped make time, running for his life.
  24. IF you can retain them. Some schools in the RRV are having a hard time with the retention end of things.
  25. UND excels in online delivery (the wave of the future). UND's on campus students benefit from its online proficiency. Some on campus students wouldn't be able to take some classes without the online delivery component. Many of UND's on campus students are also online students as they utilize online classes to graduate faster and get out into the workforce quicker. NDSU not so much, though their new dude is making a serious push in online. On campus enrollment is awesome for the Chamber and the GF community make no mistake. But Online mixed with on campus is the way to go. As one example, Arizona State has a huge overall enrollment but a big part of it is online, something like 62,000 online student enrollment. No one outside of Arizona makes the distinction and quibbles about it. It's reported the same whether the student is in Tempe or Timbuktu. Their enrollments are video game numbers compared to ours …just saying that when it comes to reporting from beyond the 701, no one makes the distinction on online vs on campus besides us.
