  1. Hope he likes his expensive education.
  2. I've noticed over the years that, in general, Sioux/Hawks fans downgrade players' skills immediately when they decided to come here, and upgrade their abilities once they decide to leave, when it's a lateral or higher move. * *In every non-hockey program
  3. I thought I recognized that FG kicker for NW... Hmmmmm?
  4. Area of concern for me on offense: middle of the OL Areas of concern for me on defense: secondary Area of strength on offense: WRs/TE Area of strength on defense: Front 7 Special Teams = Pick 'em -- kicking will be better but kick and punt coverage/blocking has got to be dominant.
  5. Cedric Case... last minute decommit from UND for Texas State. Forced us to go and get Tommy. Case's time was short lived with Texas State... eventually ended up at an NAIA II directional school in Arkansas and then poof -- gone.
  6. Young, green and undersized at center...undersized but not under-skilled.
  7. To be clear, ground has already broken on the Memorial Village Project, which is the public/private partnership that UND has initiated with Memorial Village LLC. This is the development that will go on the site of the old Memorial Stadium grandstand. The event on Thursday is the ceremonial "groundbreaking" to celebrate this project as the first in a series of new developments that are planned for that part of campus, including Pollard Center 2, for which funds are still being raised. The Memorial Village project's ground floor will hold offices for UND Athletics Department and all the coaches who now have office space in Hyslop and Starcher Hall. It also is slated to have community-use space, and student-athlete academic/study spaces. There also will be several floors of market-rate apartments available for rent to the public above the ground floor. Also slated to be part of the project is the "Hawk Walk," a glass enclosed walkway that will follow the curve of the old Memorial's iconic north wall. The plan is to utilize the wall as one side of the Hawk Walk. The Hawk Walk will connect to the existing Pollard Athletics Center on the east side of the old Memorial outdoor practice turf. Fundraising is still underway for the Pollard Center 2 extension to the existing PAC. This extension will eventually be home to player locker rooms, weight lifting facilities, and a UND Sports Medicine area.

  9. If they’re not looking for a great education; they probably should. No, I have no idea about their plans.
  10. Agreed. But a i don’t think “biased” is the word you’re looking for, then. we should all be biased as hell.
  11. who are the un-biased posters? Does that mean they aren’t partial to any team? what the hell fun is that? F that—- i am as biased a Hawks fan as you can find and effin proud of it! Go Fighting Hawks!
  12. Main goal. no injuries.
  13. UNI at Potato Bowl is huge. Potato Bowl is a monster for opposition to deal with. Be loud; pack the Al!
  14. Still fund-raising. Work on the P3 already underway, tho, with a late August ceremonial groundbreaking in the works. P3 and PAC 2 are separate projects (to be connected by the Hawk walk)that will eventually work together to transform UND Athletics. There won't be anything like it in the Upper Midwest, in my biased opinion. Exciting times ahead. Imagine a student-athlete being able to live in the upper floors of the P3, with coaches offices, student-athlete academic spaces, meeting rooms and community rooms on the first floor, all overlooking a new carpet and track... connected underroof by the Hawk Walk to the PAC 2, where you'll likely have weights, locker rooms athletic training, etc. One stop athletics shop.
  15. Yes. New carpet and outdoor practice track is still incorporated into fund-raising plans for PAC 2.
  16. I am not sure yet. His snaps are fairly balanced between designed runs and throws. Coaches are just running him through the play book like the others. In the brief snapshot that I saw him in person, his command at the line is more confident and decision-making when plays break down seems a half step quicker than the other young QBs, and his throws are crisper and more on target when compared to Q. Just seems that Q gets the yips at times on the routine throws, especially during live drills.
  17. Not enough body of work to judge. The 2deep OL is skilled and talented but they need a ton more live reps. With what they have and what’s coming in, they have the makings of something special in the next few years if they can avoid injury bug and transfer portal issues.
  18. #38 Grant appears bigger than #6 Simon. He’s being used as a utility player on offense right now. Listed as a wideout but played more as a running back today.
  19. No practice tomorrow. Off day. I am not sure where sked is posted. If I find it i’ll post here.
