It doesn’t change the fact that you can’t take that sack. Guess I would rather have a 50% chance at a field goal then no chance at all.

Not saying be ultra conservative, but know that you can’t eliminate that as a last chance thing. Also, do you not think that the interception was a direct result of being behind the chains as a result of the sack.

How are you taking that sack when you are already in field goal range. Doesn’t get sacked or throw interceptions except in the worst possible times.

I would think that as long as people are still supporting the University, who cares who puts what front and center. To me this is the best of both worlds. The other programs can use the logo as they see fit, and the hockey program can still keep people buying merchandise, yet use the name and logo as they see fit, much as the other programs did in the past.

As does the tired refrain of complaining about the hockey team not using the new logo.

Maybe you should boycott the hockey team. Didn't hear you when the other sports didn't have the Sioux logo front and center.

I would say last year was the deepest team we have had in a long time. Remember, Griffin Ness didn't crack the lineup a lot last year, and Jake Sanderson didn't need to come in and be a huge contributor offensively for us to be successful. We have a stretch right now that will tell a lot about where we fit into the picture nationally.

Exactly! A lot of people envisioned that this team would be a work in progress and hoping it would come together after Christmas. Good start so far in league which is nice, but expectations should still be realistic. Just the fact that we don’t automatically get possession after a faceoff is a huge thing. Hopefully that is one area we can improve on, but we have started off nicely.
