So we finally get decent yards running on 1st down, then we go empty backfield?
-
Is the new lighting noticeable on the brightness of the playing surface, or is that something that might help television production?
-
But can a review only come from the booth in the last few minutes of the game and on scoring plays?

That's right, I remember now that I was thinking that here is a guy that most people didn't think would ever show up on campus and then when he had the year removed people were lamenting it because of the way he plays the game. Glad that he will be able to participate this year, just have to find someone to replace him down the road. -

I thought Keane had school issues and would be ineligible. Did that get straightened out? -

I truly hope Mismash looks at the Preseason all conference picks and says to himself that he has the ability to be in that group. If they can get consistent effort out of him, there is no reason he can't be in picture for all league honors at the end of the year. The same with Kawaguchi, especially if Michaud can add to the offensive equation. -

Yeah, part of it is no Schlossman updates on who is looking good on the ice, so nothing to opine about. Of course last year the camp updates were thinking Bowen and Weatherby would add a bit of offense, which didn't pan out. I think Weatherby can take that step this year. -
Question. Are you not allowed to challenge pass interference the last few minutes, or had Green Bay used up all their challenges? Seems odd they didn't at least challenge the interception play, so I assumed there was some reason they didn't at least give it a shot.

Obviously, there are other factors, but you have someone that can put the puck in the net on the 50+ shots, and you beat that team. -

Morning practices isn’t the problem. Talent level has been the problem, and I think they have taken steps to correct that. -
Guess the boys are keeping you out of the loop!

Sure looks like a nice dual threat quarterback that is so valuable in the college game.

I thought the exact same thing. Hopefully the tide turns in the one goal games, which is what Duluth has been exceptional at. They are hardly the dominant team that you think are unbeatable, but you can’t beat yourself like we did with a chance to sweep them with Gardner giving them a 5 on 3 power play. -
Wait, so now Schlossman is retweeting Tucker Poolman talking about sticking up for a teammate? Shouldn't it be followed by the NHL is evil and made him do it diatribe?

The huge positive is that it would be very hard for UND to score less than they did last year. I am hoping with some of the newcomers, and another year under the belt of guys like Tychonick and JBD, that our power play will be better as well as even strength scoring. Time will tell. I am also hoping the undisciplined penalties will be curtailed this year. -

... and sometime it pushes another player that he replaces on the powerplay to pick it up as well. -
Wow, if so, that was a poor decision. Seems odd because it seems he fair catches almost every punt.

I think he thought he was fooling them into focusing on him and that the ball would get into the end zone. What yard line he was on I don’t remember.
-
Happy to win, but you can’t win consistently at any level of football if you can’t run the ball. Funny, but we are predictable the other way this year. You would think throwing the ball so much would open up the run. Having the o-line lose weight seems odd to me. You still win by controlling the line of scrimmage. That has got to be better if they want to win consistently going forward.

Sam Houston basically stopped themselves the whole first half including the receiver falling down by himself the last series.
-
What is the difference between the knowing what we were always going to do on offense like with Rudy, or knowing what the other team is going to do but still not being able to stop it with your defense?
-
You’re not taking into account NCAA sanctions for Brock Robbins type scenarios that repeat themselves.

Got an email from the Ralph saying they will be using metal detectors this year. I sure hope they open the doors a little earlier. There is always a huge logjam in the lobby as it is waiting to get into the arena. -
We talk about getting guys here and there by being an educational fit, well this appears to be one of those players. Seems like he liked the facilities as well.

Can't wait for his logic getting called out on this.
