  1. No but consistently seeing the same result season after season when playing these OoC games gives me enough confidence to make that statement.
  2. #buttRPI The years NDSU and SDSU have been dominant in basketball in the Summit, we have beat them or competed very well with them. I have no doubt this year would be any different if we played anyone other than NDSU. I will put stock in that before looking at numbers that are based more on OOC schedules than win loss results.
  3. Well said. I enjoyed having something different to promote to recruits. Plus i feel some of the teams in the big sky were becoming familiar with fans
  4. And than the "Wings Up" campaign was started and the sports that will be looked at to be cut are the ones that have raised the most money (last i looked). Again, I will believe something gets cut when it happens.
  5. I really liked baseball but financially I guess it made sense to cut it.
  6. I can't tell if your serious
  7. Until he proves he has the balls to cut sports I'll believe it when I see it. His other option is to cut funding to sports so he does have 2 options. He could just as easily say Bismarck forced that as well.
  8. Is there a link to the bold portion? Is that what he is actually doing? Again, I'll won't believe anything is getting cut until it actually happens. The precedent for this cluster !@#$ was set with men's golf.
  9. I don't believe it's going to happen until I actually see it. Feelings might get hurt so common sense is out the window.
  10. Glad to see this. I had heard from one of the local FU recruiting gurus that all the local schools tried to get on Ott's list but UND was on him early and he wouldn't budge. Some form of FBS offer could still come but this is good to see.
  11. Hoping to be the first of a few this weekend. Also a couple solid reconfirmations as signing day approaches
  12. The football situation will determine if we move in the Summit. That would have happened regardless.
  13. Post game interview with Rolston and Coach Jones- didn't seem like much concern. He also mention Geno and Hooker have some nagging injuries. Have to keep battling. Played hard and didn't get some of the calls you'd get at home. Disappointed with the loss but Geno got out of his funk and Bernstine looked a lot like the guy from last year.
  14. As soon as Bubba is able to control the weather he is out of coaching and into something else.
  15. It actually makes the case greater that no player will publically criticize a coach (unless you are one of the best on the planet). Plus, there is no idea of what question was asked and if coaching was part of the question.
  16. That makes it appealing to Big Sky schools. Who wouldn't want to be associated with Cal Baptist?
  17. He didn't mention a our head coach coaches well. He said well coached, for all you and I know he is referring to the assistants. Also, LOL at the one example you can give is Lebron. Very comparible to UND.
  18. Give me an example of a time in college sports (or any level) where a player openly criticized a coach and things ended well for the player.
  19. Any conference road win is a good win. Still doesn't change the OOC record and performance of the team during that time. Win the conference tournament or bust.

    2017 Season

Best of luck Chris. Always liked him as a corner. Even as a freshman he was a pretty hard nosed player with solid technique.
  21. My prediction is baseball to take our spot
  22. Amazing we beat SUU. They are in a much better climate than us and closer to the recruiting hot beds of California and Texas.
  23. We will have a lot to offer but for us it will always be about player development. It's what has been key for FU and was our key in the past. If Minnesota wants to beat Michigan and Ohio St it's focus needs to be on keeping the top 7-8 in Minnesota and filling the rest of the class nationwide. We need to continue to get a few they offer preferred walk on.
  24. Need some speed at the WR spot to move the ball in them. They are very talented up front and with our OL this year running would have been tough. Offensively they have a lot of athletes and running back is a dude. They are a very good and well coached football team that will continue to reload with FBS transfers and I'm sure very good recruits.

    2017 Season

I'll sum up your post- "there is no grey area but the only grey area is. They seem lax on it but it's not clearly defined. ".
