Budget cuts will be coming for NDSU athletics in May. Are hey really going to jump to a league where they will have to fly everywhere and increase all coaches salries to be above top half? Ill guess no. If they do more power to them. Leaving a one bid league for a more expensive other.
-
Very favorable schedule remaining.
-
Soon the women on the team who choose to play elsewhere will be posting where they may be heading. That will be the next string of tweets and retweets. Anything else will be repeated of the talking points above.
-
Paid attendance is differenet than butts in seat attendance. Was 209 the number who bought tickets or the number that showed up?
-
Pretty interesting tweet from a recently departed player from FU Lots of comments about coach/player relationships there Not saying I agree or disagree but obviously was within the program and does not think real highly of current staff https://mobile.twitter.com/BCarlton6/status/853347211278680065/photo/1

He said he and the players were very excited for the offseason to build on last year. Didn't sound like a guy who was done in June.
-
Add all those teams. They'd all be a great fit.

Great post above. Just got back to Fargo. Saw Teeders post about the crowd, wasn't sure what to expect. Couldn't believe it when we walked in at 5:00. Realky starting to look like a bigger football team. The only position that needs to get bigger is the OL. Need a few frames to fill out. Johannasen will be a dude. So patient and when he finds his spot hits the hole hard. Walked by him after the game and he is a load. DBs should be a lot better. Holm is bigger and Rudolph looked really good. MCKinney will play as a true frosh. Kid can run. Not sure what to think of the OL, only because our DL is really, really good. #55 will have a huge year. I used to be worried about after Greeley and Dranka left, we have horses behind them

More than we're at the UND vs Ohio St women's hockey series.
-
Haha, quoting anonymous message board posters now as fact. This !@#$ is hilarious.
-
Haha. That is what they are going off of? Again, ignoring all the numbers Kennedy likely laid out in the discussion.
-
You forgot ignore all facts.
-
Trying to get the facts out since a certain group seem to overlook them. We should change you post to: For people that don't like women's hockey you guys sure spend A LOT of time talking about actual facts...
-
They need to stay relevant so they can sell their shirts
-
Saw that today. Was wondering the same thing. I don't recall hearing that.
-
The two hundred fans that made the trip to Sioux Falls for the conference tournament would beg to differ.
-
Coaches contracts haven't been public ally announced. Impossible to have a signing.
-
Lets be honest, there isn't a ton of options out there. They did average just shy of 6,000 per game.
-
Outside of those, my best guess would be Grand Canyon from the WAC or one of the Minnesota DII schools to move up. Also, maybe an Augustana but I couldn't see the SD schools lobbying for that too hard.
-
That would be my thought. UNC would be a close 2nd but I believe they had some off the court stuff as well this year. They have a good young men's teams and a solid women's program. Plus they have baseball
-
The fans of the other Dakota schools should change the way they look at things than. There is no reason those schools can't be viewed as piers of UND. All I did was select the top schools in the MVC.
-
He played at his best last season when the offense ran at a faster tempo. I'm not saying no huddle but when we needed to score and sped up the pace, he played really well.
-
The MVC has some very quality teams even after Wichita leaves. Illinois St, SIU, UNI and Missouri St are quality. Anytime you can have commonality with conference teams it's a good thing. I still don't see NDSU getting the invite alone so if they go, who goes with them?
-
NDSU by themselves is a long shot. Missouri St and Fargo as travel partners? A little shorter than Grand Forks/Greeley except no direct flights and a 200 mile drive to the nearest major airport. budget friendly trip?
-
With their remaining schedule they have a great shot at the conference tourney. All teams within 2 games of each other.
