Its a tough spot but I think UND is pretty attractive right now if you are a coach looking for an opportunity. Especially if the position they look to fill is that of RB. Don't jump off the cliff yet.

It gives the ability to add the extra month to the spring/summer conditioning/lifting. Give the guys the chance to make their biggest weight/strength gains right before the season starts. Loving the IPF.

As the program improves we are going to lose coaches. Need to replace it with another high energy guy that is a good recruiter.

Hate losing a coach to a conference team if it's true. Gives a better understanding to our defensive scheme to an already very good offense historically. Either way Coach Maurice was a fantastic guy. Thank you for all you did in helping get UND back on track. For the athletic dept. need to find a way to increase coaches salaries if that was a factor.

Agreed. If we were able to have anyone hitting yesterday we maybe are able to establish a lead around double figures and force Sac. St. to speed up their offense a bit. Like you mentioned had some very good uncontested looks that just didn't drop and couldn't get to the line/make the attempts we got from there.

People live the underdog through to the elite 8 but I'm still convinced the Final Four does better when the Dukes, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, Arizonas, etc are in it. This is would not surprise me to see this in the future.

This ^^^^^^^^^. We know what we have at nearly every other position group (LB could be debated) but if the OL plays like last year we will not be improved and could be 0-3 after our non conference schedule.

I think there was room for the university to be reshaped. Does it hurt to have to go to this extent, yes, but this could also be an opportunity to step back and determine how students want to take classes today, not continuing to do things the same way they've been done for years just because. With recent investments in the med school and engineering school, along with others, UND isn't going anywhere but it needs to adjust/change. I'm sure there is plenty to change in academics and not being in a DII bus league anymore, there is plenty to change in athletics and come out of this stronger. Leadership just needs to do its job.

See above. We own the tie breaker on both so you could argue it's a two game lead. I'll take those odds with three left. Weber had a difficult schedule remaining but two of their three are at home.

I don't care how you want to spin it. I would rather have what is essentially a two game lead with three to go any day vs a one game lead over historically the best team in the conference. When our games remaining are against #7,#8 and #10 in the conference we better be able to win two out of three And two of them are at home

The ladies team is so good inside the three point line. Drive and kick and they consistently knock down the mid range jumper. Fun game to watch today.
