Another hot goalie?

Is NDSU prepared to make basketball their primary sport? If salaries increase for men's basketball, how much do they increase for every other sport?

The team got the same compliment from a NDSU fan I work with who is one of the larger team makers. Said he didn't realize how athletic they were and there was a lot of teams in the tournament they could have beaten. It hurt him to say that.

Not as much as a Bison/Irish fan who has to troll a UND board on a Thursday night.

Our up tempo offense could also be what lets the game get out of hand. The thing I love and hate about our team is they know one speed.

His speed could give Geno fits. He played well Friday and Saturday vs UCLA and Oregon. Makes a big play when they need it

As tough as he will be to handle, their guards #0- Jackson-Cartwright and #5- Allen make me nervous. Crandall will have everything he can handle with the speed of #0 but will also have a height advantage. #5 and Hooker is as ideal as it can be for UND as they are both physical guards. We just need to hope we are shooting well and gain confidence as the game goes along.

It will be interesting to see if UND matches Bernstine at him. The kid floats around the arc and will occasionally post. Doesn't do a lot of creating his own shot but is pretty money when given the slightest opening. UCLA sent Kelsch at him on Friday and he had some success being aggressive down low but than they lost him around the arc.

It's what fits the narrative. Before this evening it was the committee evaluates the teams. Then after the seeds came out it was RPI. Most insecure fan base there is. I love they have to listen to it for this week. #itsgoodforthestate

Part of OOC record falls on a head coach. Whether it's lack of preparation, lack of focus or just X and Os we have lost some OOC games to teams we were more talented than during his career.

Investing in a program can be more than just coaches salaries. Lots of good coaches out there that would love to have a fully funded program with FCOA, a gym much better than a high school gym that fans attend and have a great atmosphere, weight facilities. Jones may not be paid the best but he has some great recruiting tools. That's why I don't feel bad for him. He has also done plenty to draw criticism for his coaching. His next step will be success OOC. He has struggled throughout his career but has also faced some challenges with nickname and conference (Great West) that made it difficult.

Extend Jones and get some money to his assistants. Someone got him to change his style a bit mid year and the team seemed to respond. Less pouty on the sideline. Just coaching.

Weber is a great program. I'm always impressed with their physical yet athletic bigs. There is a nice rivalry starting between the programs.

Tough to beat a team 3 times in a season. Bigs need to play well tonight and Geno needs to keep focus. He tends to jaw a bit with Senglin which is fine but time to finish the job. Best of luck to the coaches and team tonight. Time to capitalize on the opportunity to be the only team in the state still playing and shift that perception.

#buttfootball NDSU will pay 100 times more attention to detail in the locker room renovation for football than was paid to building the SHAC. The shortcuts taken in the SHAC are hilarious and are going to cost a lot of money down the road if they even get addressed at all. I actually went to a few games this year in that building and the crowds were mediocre at best. Below average if you take into account it was the first year in a new building. They were much better last season at Scheels Arena.

EWU loses. Not sure how with the easy road they had left. UND outright champs. Congrats coaches and players.
