I’m not the one who is confused. Plenty of posts during game threads and in the coaching thread about some players on the team and how our roster was made of D2 players because that is all the staff could recruit. Guessing plenty on this board will back me on reading those comments.

You spent the season posting about how the coaching staff had a roster that was not D1 talent and now you just want to give up a scholarship ship to a player that is a great practice player and is not even halfway into his career. That may be the reason for the down votes

I’m not a great hockey mind but thought Strathman looked really good. Had a very aggressive style and is skilled with the puck. Fun to watch the two of them. Tickets are $10 and kids 12 and under are free for the playoffs. Great entertainment.

But we made the list……

His talent is worth taking a flyer on. Gets better every single year.

This may be one weekend where football helps hockey attendance.

I’d say he opened the door to bringing up his problems when he chose to give his opinion on UNDs coaching situation.

Are you certain that UND didn’t reach out?

Will Walters be willing to wait until mid May or June for Nelson to make a decision?

I actually think it proves my point. The 3-4 or 4-3 has not slowed them down.

NDSU is the benchmark of the conference and based on that the 4-3 doesn’t work either.

Tough home life. No offers is a little alarming but we need an athletic playmaker…..Still need to offer in my mind.

I don’t see Erickson in the rotation year one but with some added strength and conditioning he can play at this level. Seems to have a high basketball IQ and is a bit of a throwback.

Doppler certainly hasn’t looked like a D1 player in either game. This is the only two times I have watched him so very small sample size.

Not sure why we haven’t offered……I mean I have a really good idea why no one has but talent is off the charts and it’s a risk worth taking

Yesterday he was better than Kraft. Passes well and finishes pretty well around the rim using body to create space. Question his mobility. Will be interesting to watch him vs an up tempo North team tonight. Not sure he fits the style UND played this year.
