He was up and down. Had some really, really good games and some head scratchers. Lack of pressure up front really doesn’t help a CB. Still like the crew coming back if we retain all 4

I don’t see it being that rough. I understand Wes’ frustration. Lots of talent with limited opportunities. Plenty of recent examples of players that left UND to go sit on the bench at FBS schools. Keeping players around is as much on the team as it is the coaches.

I know I’ll get jumped on as accepting the same old but this is exactly why the bigger schools wanted the transfer portal. You hope not to lose them but it’s going to happen, just can’t be full turnover on the OL.

I can see what Danny was thinking to start the 4th……I’ll run playaction, catch them off guard and move the ball. Problem is as a team we want to score there but not score quick. Nothing wrong with what we had been doing to that point, pound the ball…..5 minute drive and get them the ball back with 10 minutes left and hopefully behind. It just changes things. Commit to 4 down territory from there in and statistically, we can run the ball down the field. Offense needs to compliment the defense and the staff should know that.

This teams lacks an identity. Offensively- everyone can see we are at our best when we pound the ball but we have an OC that can’t commit to it and gets impatient. I made mention to my brother today at the game the worst thing that could have happened to us was the 4th quarter break when we had the ball at the 50. Gave Danny too much time to think instead of sticking with what was working and sure enough the next two plays we take two sacks on the same simple pressure from the defense. Defensively- what are we. We aren’t “bend but don’t break”, we aren’t “physical”, we don’t get there when “we bring pressure”. I don’t know what we are supposed to be. The staff needs to figure it out and go find the talent through the portal if it’s not on the roster. I think one side of the ball has a lot of pieces in place already but they need to determine how they get better.

Don’t need to tear the whole program apart but the defense needs to be torn down, evaluated. Have some very good players but schematically the same !@#$ happened all year long.

The 10 were from a friend and the season tickets around them but no interest in going. Had family coming to town Friday night with NDSU ties and just asked around. For him to act like people are lining up to get in the dome is funny at best. Their student section rivaled ours as far as attendance so it’s not just a UND problem.

I actually went to that game on Saturday. Whoever bought yours for $55 certainly didn’t look very hard. We bought 2 at the gate and were given 10 for no charge. Apparently lots of people wearing blue and red if you think there is a demand for tickets.

Wins vs non scholly and D2 and lower are much more meaningful by your standards.

I read it when you posted it. His post was about not breaking 5 wins…..so your rebuttal is a year we beat a non scholly and 3 D2 teams or lower. You are the one not comprehending. Yesterday you say this years team doesn’t have a quality win this year, now those 4 wins are your bar for a 8 win team and no progress has been made under this staff.
