We had more talented players that chose to stay….

A few of you speak more highly of the players that leave than ones that have stayed for 5 years

Support via tickets, scholarships, facilities and now NIL. Develop them when no one else will and the give them a high five when they leave to go some where else??

What is wrong with hoping they don’t find success. Support the hell out of them while wearing Green and White, they are like any other player when they choose to leave.

Incoming or departing???

Don’t disagree but NIL is the one part of this fans control vs the administration. It’s likely the most important part of player retention and recruitment right now in college sports.

Except not everyone is talented enough to play college or even the Olympics. Every single person can contribute to NIL and direct their funds where they want to go. And I would be willing to bet if you contribute they would answer the questions you have.

How much have you contributed?

NIL is a bigger factor to the exodus and everyone of us can continue to complain about over and over or step up and write the checks. It can go directly to the talent you want to keep.

Some other schools are currently still in spring ball. One can assume there will be movement when that wraps up.

With all the changes to the season tickets and uncertainty on the year I am guessing there is a decline in renewals this year. Not a great decision by the athletic dept.

We should invest some of the hockey budget into basketball. We’d get a better return. Terrible effort by a team that has every advantage a team could have.

When a player leaves, begs to come back and leaves again it is acceptable to question the player…..not the game. I hope his third transfer goes as well as his first.

Great argument. Tell me more about dropping your season tickets for football. When things suck for fans they stop going to games costing the schools money.

Talent that needs a year or two to develop?

All so that acquired talent can leave the following year.

Criticize we don’t have a collective…..criticize the people who work to set it up cause it’s not the right people.

Opportunity for money is playing no part in it?

Isn’t that the story of any low major conference? Transfer portal and NIL are only going to make this more frequent in the coming years.

Are you better off raising money for coaches or raising money for NIL in today’s college sport landscape?
