Crowd noise. Help the defense out. Turn some of those 3rd and short to medium into 3rd and medium/long. The tin shed can be loud. Crowd can play a part. Players still need to make some plays. NDSUs easiest approach to communication will be hand the ball off.

Summit teams need to look out for themselves as well. Any of their teams look at football only for other conferences, backfill them with someone else. Stop making it easy for teams to continue to leave. The MVFC and Summit league are in the same offices correct?

Why would MVFC members who are members of the Summit league want to keep them in the Summit if they leave the football conference for a football only invite. Let them figure the other sports out.

One could argue our chances in this game will be determined by our interior 3 OL on offense and NG and 2 ILBs on defense. Can’t have a repeat of last year.

I believe it’s looking at how Drake attacked our defense. They had some success (relative) running up the middle. I’m guessing NDSU is going to pop that tape In and get Luepke warmed up at HB. Lots of improvement needs to happen to slow that down in two weeks.

Team just looked like they were going through the motions. Are they that mentally soft that getting the beat down they got last week leaves them that uninspired?

Interior o line needs to grow up quick. Defensively not sure where the improvement needs to happen fast. At some point we need to trust the guys in the secondary and stop giving 10 yard cushion. Not sure that QB last night could have consistently made deep throws but needed to try something different when the game was slipping. Im not convinced we will slow NDSU in three weeks when they line it up and run A and B gap power line last year.

He is too good of an athlete and too good of corner to move from CB and not have on the field at a different position. I think he works his way on there and becomes a really good player.

He went to UND camp this summer. Currently getting the most interest from Moorhead. Shanley will be decent this year.
