I'd say that thread has more of a potential impact to how UND does things or should be doing things than discussing a hypothetical two deep in February.

If that's the case, I say this total is not awarded to FU next go around. Aren't they the same college who complains about funding consistently? When they have the opportunity to get it they spend it on athletic scholarships. Some questions need to be asked

Phase 2 of the IPF will do more to further academics than more athletic scholorships. If what FU, Dickinson and Minot did is OK, UND better get on board and take advantage to the state gov't mismanagement of these funds. Also, how much money will this free up for the addional cost of scholorships.

Was that the intent when this bill was passed. The same argument could be made for facilities but the state wants nothing to do with that. I think your reaching.

This question needs to be answered by the legislature. There can't be grey area on this. My opinion, it's a pretty big stretch to say this helps bolster academics in any way.

Did they say why they waited this long to release the footage of the car? I get waiting for some time to see if you can id it but after this long, it gets even more difficult.

Both him and Greely had nice seasons as true freshmen. Didn't expect it from either guy. I hope they are having a good winter and are ready to take the next step as sophomores.

You give Jones and Muss/Schweigert the support/facilities hockey has and its a different deal. Thats a poor comparison.

I don't think we beat the 7th, 10th and 12th place teams on the road last year with a much more experienced team.

Bubba has said multiple times, best kids at each position will play regardless of what class they are in. If any true freshman proves he can play, he will.

When I read that article a while back, it just came across as a kid having a real solid head on his shoulders and will understand the work it takes to succeed. Whether he signed at UND or elsewhere, after reading that you just wanted the kid to get an opportunity.

What kid didn't have any offers that concerns you? Whats the magic number? Do D2 offers count? What schools matter? I think the key thing is that our coaches are getting kids to camp. We didn't throw out 150 offers this year like years past.

Where did Bubba say they only recruit players with no offers?

The live video is awesome today. Great job by UND to take it a step further. Best recruiting coverage in the area once again.

Tough to rank 5. I think the coaches did a good job addressing needs. Really have to be excited about the OL that were signed. Different looking OL group than years past. Engwall will be a good DL for us and hopefully the staff is able to retain Greer. Looking at WR, Georges, Dulin and Santiago are athletic. Reed looks like he could fill that toughness role that McGill brought the last few years before injury. We got better at DB and LB. Only concern will be depth at RB. Would still like to see another transfer prior to next season.

It was a small group and the two we know of aren't real active on twitter so it's hard to say. The coaches have not been as active with commitments either. Things are hopefully quiet until Wednesday.
